I'm pretty sure the audience is wondering something similar with the abrupt /apparent/ change in direction. As far as I'm concerned it's still entirely possible that Jason gets his head on straight and tries to carry out his original objective. It's also possible he doesn't, and we get something entirely different from canon(you did say screw canon at the beginning, after all). I look forward to finding out which it is.

Hooray for Jason and Harry meeting! I have no power over you, but please please don't make Harry a night-time vigilante like everyone else does in crossovers! XD I love that everyone is being more truthful with him now. Is he gonna go back to Hogwarts again in this fic's timeline? I would love for the Batclan to meet Ron and Hermione and get their thoughts on Harry's Hogwarts-family. :D

I adore his "Oh, you're Batman" and it's all just quiet and not all shrill and crazy. Maybe because he's seen weirder, yeah, but also because maybe he just really can picture Bruce as the Daddy Bat. XD
