I'll be honest. I have no idea what story this was, and I'll probably never get around to reading the new version. I'm sure I'll have forgotten about this story by the time I'm back in the mood for Harry Potter fanfiction again.

hello, the latest update is that the rewrite is up , i can't access it as it says that it's been deleted by the author? can't wait to read it and the new chapters too once the rewrite is done. Love the story, it's a really good story and your world building is brilliant.

I'm sorry to read of your intent to rewrite what already works. Please don't screw up that which works! Just write whatever segues you need to lead in to the new chapters; they will act as a kind of bridge into the newer chapters going in whatever direction you decide to take your story.
And it's a great story!

The correct way to say this is: "He groaned unintelligibly".
