I forgot how huch of a cliffhanger this last chapter is! It was very fun reading through all the stories again and i look forward to anymore updates

I'd like to begin by saying that your writing, especially in this trilogy, was probably the single greatest thing that got me into reading (and now writing) fanfiction. I've read Heart of Fire, Heart of Ashes, and what has been written of Heart of the Inferno several times, and enjoyed it each one. The writing and storytelling is amazing, and I've always thought that the way you portray Smaug is one of the best depictions of a not-strictly-good-or-bad dragon out there.

That said, do you ever plan to return to this trilogy? I know that you're busy with other projects, but I think it's a shame for such a good set of stories as these to go unfinished. There are still fans (or at least one fan!) of this saga that would love to see the conclusion.

...Or even just the next chapter. The idea of Smaug interacting with other dragons still brings a smile to my face even four years after that last chapter was published.

You’ve done a great job of turning this AU into one I think Tolkien would approve of.
Take all the time you need to iron out the chinks in your finale - Good work like this takes time and a dedicated/skilled writer like yourself.

Please complete this story already.

This has been dormant for so long but still worth revisiting from time to time. Hopefully one day it gets revived!

Pretty awesome story. i came back and reread the story like 3 times through the years

i just read the other 2 storys a few weeks ago and i am loving this series. i hope the next chapter will be released soon since it has been 2 years since the last update
