Reviews for Inevitability |

![]() ![]() ![]() I like how you had Katniss take in her father-in-law, and the married Mellarks have a sick parent living with them. And that he was forgiven, of course. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Again with the broad brushstrokes! More, more detail on their Toasting, especially when they go to sign the papers and become legally wed at the Justice Building! And with the cake reveal, when Katniss "kisses him soundly" - that could have been detailed more as well. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Why wouldn't you have Rye marry Delly. At least she is an established character in canon. Also, again glossing over the fluff moments! It would have been even better if you flushed out the part where Peeta sneaks Katniss into the bakery and "she kisses him hard." |
![]() ![]() ![]() That starving kid's desperate attack on Katniss had my heart pounding. You really do paint a remarkably vivid picture of hardscrabble life in District 12. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love all the domestic moments you give Katniss in her marriage - fixing dinner, she and Peeta sharing a bed and talking at night before going to sleep. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I LOVE your idea of the 3rd Quarter Quell being 12-year-olds only Reaped! And how it would of course end in a matter of hours! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excuse me, could somebody please be so kind as to tell me what the heck a "pallet" is. Right now it just sounds like a deli spread, but apparently Katniss and Peeta just shagged on it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Literally the only complaint I have regarding this MASTERPIECE is that there are some moments that are summarized over. Why not flesh out Katniss and Peeta's romantic walks home from the shoe shop, flesh those conversations out that allow them to grow closer and fall in love? Or the moment where Peeta asks Prim's permission for Katniss's hand in marriage? And give us some more detailed SMUT then "they make love." |
![]() ![]() ![]() It was beautiful! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! I loved this so much! It was so good to read. Thank you for sharing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I happen to find this story and couldn't stop reading it till I got to this last chapter it is so so good. Love the way you twist it this story, on how Peeta and Katniss get together this way was prefect. I loved how neither of them or their family members were not reap in the reaping. I loved how Katniss new friendship with Delly helps Peeta find a way into Katniss life. When Peeta thought Gale and Katniss was together was awesome. To the point that Peeta was scared that Gale was going to hurt him for kissing Katniss. How Katniss fell for Peeta was prefect and through all the heartache she and Peeta went through was crazy, sad, happy, overjoyed and so much drama, that Katniss was able to understand her mother more and understand herself more. My heart went out to Peeta so many times. When his mother beat him to the point that he never returned home. Loved that Peeta was able to confront his father not protecting him. Than my heart sank when Rye was killed. I can understand why Peeta went into himself with self loathing. I loved how Peeta remarried Katniss to renew his vow to her. They came a long way and they will be stronger for it. I hope you add the last chapter this is an awesome story totally loved loved loved it! please finish the last chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful “what if” story! The twists and turns were sometimes heartbreaking, but I love the truth you brought to the “Inevitable” title. The joy and celebration at the end warms my heart. Thank you for sticking with this story and sharing it with us :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! This chapter ramps up the intensity even higher. Wonderful job describing both the action and the emotion. Don’t know if I mentioned it before, but I’m really appreciating Mr Cartwright’s character and his “adoption” of Katniss. |
![]() ![]() I am so glad you continued this story, I have always liked this version of their story :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved it. The prose got me at first but it was perfect. |
