What an amazing fic

As for the plot point- you mentioned that it was subtly brought up! Was it when Sakura mentioned how Kurenai talked to her? I was thinking it might be about the “training accident”?

When you really get attuned to your characters, they write themselves. Its one of the major reasons people get wrters block, is they have somewhere they want to go, and the characters stand around, exchange glances and say, " uh... no. I wouldn't do that. Thats... stupid."

So on this chapter, you listened.

When reading naruto I like to compare Fuinjutsu to coding in a virtual sandbox (or any game really). One can really do anything if one is creative enough to apply the tools. Naruto is already sly enough to pull pranks, so outfoxing (pun shamelessly and utterly intended) his opponents is quite satisfying; and adding fuinjutsu on top of that could really be something...

Speaking of foxes. Kitsunes are cute, that is a fact. Once you see baby Kurama there is no going back, he just stops being terrifying at all, doesn't help that he has rabbit hears. The only scary thing remaining are his bloodshot eyes and that maybe because he has trouble sleeping with how loud Naruto can be.

What I'm trying to say is that I'm really looking forward for the next chapter and the chapter after that one.

As for naming I got nothing...

I really love this story and cannot wait to see it updated again! :) One of my favorite Naruto and Hinata stories ever!

One thing I’ve wondered about the byakugan is since the user is able to see through obstacles and has 360º vision, are they able to see the insides of their own head? Maybe one thing Hinata does to prevent her lack of self steem utterly crushing her is activating the byakugan and saying to herself: “Look Hinata stop being so down on yourself. You are not stupid so stop acting so stupid, SEE!? You have a good sized brain!” LOL

One cool thing I think you could do Is someone poking holes into Nejis worldview with a butterfly analogy:
Something like: The fate of a caterpillar is to become a butterfly, right? Can you still say that even after such a dramatic transformation the butterfly still is the same it has always been.

I've been meaning to finish this chapter for a while. I'm still loving this fic. Naruto and Hinata's relationship is life giving. It's fun watching them grow together. I agree that its unfortunate we never got a scene about Narutocl communicating with his team about the Kyubbi and how it makes him feel. Its peak Shounen lol. I'm looking forward to the next one.

It seems like I keep saying that, but this is one of my favorite chapters. Perhaps I should try ranking them one day :p

I mean... this is what I came here for. A chapter where Hinata is there, participating in Naruto's life, interacting with him. Is that so much to ask in a NaruHina fic?

Which made me realize... keeping Naruto in team 7 was a great idea. Really, it was. Most fics would put Naruto in team 8 and force him to interact with Hinata. This fic, instead, creates bounds between them, from scratch. And that's awesome. You also managed to fix team 7's dynamic somehow! Incredible.

Plus, you did it. You portrait Jiraya perfectly! "Eu não sou um taradinho! Eu sou um TARADÃO!" ahahahaha... and yet, he was very serious and competent when he was pressed to do. That's Jiraya!

And now I'll have to wait for updates... which sucks.

Tsc, I dropped into sleep right before the end of the chapter yesterday, and now I barely remember what was in this chapter. But I remember feeling quite happy and doing some unmanly sounds during the NaruHina scene. Jiraya's debut... it was more of an introduction, I think. His actual debut will happen in the next chapter.

Oh, and I just remember what you're doing with Anko. That's one path I really approve of! Great things may come from that.

Ah, one more thing. I think you mentioned somewhere (inside the chapter) that Hinata will be present in Naruto's training, right? Well, please do that, and more. What I'm looking for in this fic, and what I think was advertised to me, was something in the lines of "well, what if Hinata was closer to Naruto, and actually important to his, hers and their's development instead of only having ONE relevant scene in the entire fucking show, then come up as his bride after a... 20min development during a movie after the show ended"?

Fortunately, you're making a really good work with that!

Two things really got my attention in this chapter. Hinata's fight... and how you lost an amazing opportunity regarding Sakura's clothes. Oh, the hormonal teenager reactions you could have explored with it...

Well, anyway. Naruto's fight was a very pleasant read. The highlights were Tenten's pov over how distressed he was over Hinata, and also the totally unexpected appearance of Naruko! I can't help myself, but to wish she would come back more often, and maybe in a more permanent manner too (which would probably not fit in this fic, but still)...

Now, Hinata vs Neji... you deserve way more than my sleep deprived mind can produce at this moment. Because, damn, that was a good fight, and an amazing showing on Hinata's part. I can't remember one thing that stood out too much, but rather it was the combination of dozens of things, thoughts, moves, strategies and Neji's unlimited arrogance that made up such an amazing fight.

Actually, one thing did stand out to me. It was when she refuted his logic on fate and freedom, right there on his face. Good scene, that and many others. It was a very rich experience!

Why are we forced to read through details of Hinata's life as a small child? If they were that important then the fic should have started at that age. Instead this whole chapter reads as if it were a summary of a fic and not the actual fic.

All the fights were well planned, with good strategy that wasn't obvious. They were also interested because of how you gave some attention to the backstage stuff, like the fact they don't have any spare clothes. I was expecting a little scene featuring Sasuke and Sakura and a hospital goon, but I'm was a bit on the optimistic side...

Shikamaru's fight was good, but it has developed pretty much like Canon, except Shikamaru was a bit more successful. There is some space to some early ShikaMari tho, and if that were to happen, who knows, it could even stir some things in the invasion. It's a risky path, but one I have yet to see in fanfiction...

Other than that, well, Sakura's fight was a lot better than that chicken fight shown in canon. I actually like Sakura (and Sasuke) in this fic. I know I've told you that before, but it still amazes me that you manage to keep them close to their canon personalities and still get me to like those two.

I don't remember much about the other fights tho. I'm running on about 30h of sleep per week in the last two weeks... damn, I'm tired.

Hinata hugging Naruto in this chapter was SUPER CUTE!

From a technical point of view, this is one of my favorite chapters so far. There is just so much original content, and they are not just randomly put in there, there is a lot of thought behind each scene.

But my favorite part was Hinata fighting the Sound Genins. It was beautiful. It was scene that could be called a representation of this entire fic, because she was a protagonist at that moment, and a very good one She had some new tools at her disposal, yes, but she wasn't 10x stronger than Canon. Instead, what made her succeed was she used the tools at her disposal to counter each of the enemies abilities one by one, and she had enough confidence in herself to go through all that, even if she doesn't realize it yet. She was amazing, and this is one of my favorite scenes of the entire fic.

By the way, I usually read before sleeping, which means I'm very tired, and I can't remember things other than the last few scenes...
