I honestly don't see how you can salvage team 7. Probably the most dysfunctional poorly put together group in fictional history. The fact that they all survived to the end of the manga still blows my mind to this day

Well, that was certainly a lot. I don't think I've ever seen more explanations shoved into one chapter than this. Probably needed it for the story, though... so I'll wait to see what the next chapter brings.

Hinata certainly has a ton of confidence problems, but I'm sure the fact that she actually managed to hit Kakashi will score some points with Team 7. Especially Naruto. He'll probably pester her relentlessly to show him how she did it.

And yes, I know where you're going with Hinata but I will wisely keep my mouth shut. No sense in ruining it for the readers.

The end of this chapter scared me a bit, "death" Kurenai, I recalled the history of Team 8 by S'tarkan with that scene, I became very depressed for that reason when I read Team 8 ...
well it was all a genjutsu, fortunately I found out almost immediately, anyway ...

Well ... that was kind of messed up but I suppose that may have been an attempted wake up call on Kurenai's part to show them how bad things can get and how completely unprepared Sasuke is to fight his brother ... still messed up though.

Yo , I loved your fighting scenes and don't think that anything needs to be improved. I think your reference from "Team 8" was SPOILER: Kurenai's death by Itachi. Not so sure if it was in this story but i'm pretty sure and to lazy to check it.

Hinata just ruined Team 7 bonding. Reading through every chapter I restraint myself not to shout, get lost to her but whatever. Maybe you should have just tagged Hinata and Naruto, I'm NH who anti- SS would love this fic. The tags probably prevent them from reading.

Well the last part of the chapter was intense. I wonder how emotionally scarred team 7 will be after. I hope that the genjutsu served it's purpose. So did Hinata faint from seeing so many Naruto clones? Or seeing Naruto's demise?

Good enough to beat and maybe even trick kiba even when he is expecting it( taking alamaru's fur to make it look like it really is

And hope you have naruto learn that it is generally a bad idea to allow an enemy to use special items( he should not have allowed kiba to give the soldier pills to alamaru.

One factor that most people including kishi seem to forget is that tazuna did I fact only need protection from bandits and maybe ex samurai. If zabuza had already been hired, tazuna would not have left the island. Hell, he could not have escaped from the brothers.
Which means that tazuna was only lying about one factor, it would not be random bandits who would attack him, but gato' men.

Gato probably hired zabuza only after he knew that tazuna had hired some himself.
But that begs the question why he did not
Have tsunami and Imari kidnapped before the hired ninjas returned home
The whole arc made no sense.

Now why in the world did she do THIS? Its close to the same level of stupid that Itachi did when he f'ed up Sasuke's head in cannon! Idiots, the both of them!

Awesome story and I am definitely looking forward to more. Oh man is Hinata's development well made and I can't wait to see how the end of the day turns out. Also is this story at all related or inspired by Lies in the past, Danger in the future? I am seeing some parallels with that dream about with the red scarf. The tragic future inferred in it also lead credence to this story at least referencing it. Real neat.

Another nice chapter. It's nice to see you take time to talk about the thoughts and feelings going on with the members of team 8, and it's nice to see shino get some time to be put out there. Looking forward to the next chapter
