There were so many great moments in this chapter that I know Im not going to be able to mention them all

The opening scene with Sarah is so well done, and so appropriate...of course shes convinced herself that she dosnt deserve to be happy, so no matter how desperate she is to fix things, shes not going to fight for it.
Its a viewpoint that only gets reinforced by the final scene where, rather than confess her feelings to Chuck, she's willing to accept that she'll only ever have that small taste of a normal life. Sarah just dosnt see her value as an actual person

Chucks verbal smackdown of Bryce in the coffee shop was so much better than any physical confrontation they might have had, and Sarah constantly getting flustered by Chucks newfound confidence was pure gold...also loved the pride she took in being the one who helped him find that confidence

I know Ive mentioned before that Im a big fan of seeing Chuck step up when he gets dragged into the spy world, and I think you did a great job here. Chuck coming up with the plan, while Sarah is cracking heads..thats how you do a non-physical Chuck and still have him contribute

Sarah punching Bryce will never get old

...and for the record I agree with your Authors Note about Chuck. Hes not violent by nature, it has to be something he feels is worth fighting for. When he does though, he'll do whatever needs to be done

...and now the worst part...another chapter down, and Ive got to wait again...boo!

Wow, this particular heavy weight fight might be coming to and end. the challenger, Sarah, has put up a tremendous fight, much more than Walker and her story could have ever imagined. Walker has quickly realized that Sarah's corner is strong. Chuck and, to a lesser extend, Casey, have distracted Walker with comments from Sarah's corner. She can't believe that she keeps falling for it. But Walker has the experience and has the willpower to withstand anything Sarah has to throw at her...or does she. The unofficial score for this 15-round bout is tied up going into the final round or two. Walker ended this last round strong. Respect for Sarah and Chuck, but she might still be too strong.

Just a great chapter bringing everything together. Don't worry folks, I will push for that next chapter to come out sooner rather than later.

Oh Snap! What a chapter. Highs and lows. I feel sad for Sarah but at least she isn't conflicted with the mission anymore. And Chuck won't stay mad at her right...right? ;) thanks for writing.

I have faith in you but man it seems that Sarah has painted herself into a corner and I don't see any way out for her. I love how your Chuck and Sarah drive each other crazy and I can't wait to see how you resolve it.

The characters and their actions are all instantly recognizable even in this AU setting.
Very believable plot line as well.
I especially enjoyed Sarah's reactions to Chuck standing up for himself.
Of course Bryce can see why, but as usual our lovable hero is a little slow on the uptake.

Out-freakin'-standing! This chapter is the best of the story thus far. You did a wonderful job with the comeuppance of Bryce and showed us a confident and capable Chuck. Awesome. Now we just need to get to the sugar! Can't wait!

Fantastic chapter! I love the way you wove Casey into Sarah's story so that by the time they were all in Roark's office they were protecting Chuck just like S1 or 2 of the show. As you said to me recently the Sarah/Casey dynamic is awesome and really unique to this show, you did a fabulous job with it here.

And I enjoy any story where Bryce gets told off...multiple times :)

A really good chapter thank you. Everything was in it - tension, action, slight comeuppance for Bryce (although he can explain it away as due to Lady Feelings). And her admission to herself thst she does have feelings for Chuck was quite a revelation (to her). But the end is sad as she can only contemplate running from her situation.
