![]() ![]() ![]() This has been a really great story. Very well done! Thanks for sharing it with us. I look forward to your next one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great story. I love how you portrayed Casey in this story and I could see him heading down this path the longer this show went on. Thank you again great job. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A fabulous end to a great story. I'm so glad the proposal wasn't too drawn out. And FYI, the gender of the child is about the only thing the husband does directly determine. He's the one with the Y chromosome. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was a nice way to tie it up with a ribbon, thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Superb from start to finish. And I'll be eagerly awaiting any future stories you post. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yay great ending to a great story, good job :) Loved this Chuck, Sarah |

![]() ![]() ![]() A beautiful end to a beautiful story. Thank you so much writing this wonderful piece full of so many memorable moments. |
![]() ![]() ![]() As always, I really enjoyed being able to sit back and just read this through. A couple of things jumped out at me. You really did a fantastic job of portraying Sarah's struggles with becoming a 'normal' person. I think too many stories make the transition almost instantaneous and easy. It clearly would not be, and the moments that Sarah went through in this chapter, which clearly show that she has bad days, when her spy senses overwhelm her, show just how difficult it is. So her doubts and fears popping back up is not unexpected. Thank goodness for Casey...again. And then, I loved how Chuck slowly helped her understand, whether it was his intent or not, that she is not starting a new life and trying to forget her past life, but rather integrating her past life into who she is now. As light-hearted as the movie watching scene was, with Chuck asking her about what she had done as a spy and comparing it to the movie, it allowed her to open up and discuss her past. It also allowed her to see that Chuck loved all of her, including her past. I also think that Sarah realizing that Chuck has hos own doubts and fears about their relationship was a huge eye opener for Sarah, making her realize that they were both trying to find their footing in this new relationship, not just her. You conveyed these...moment and emotions perfectly. And their pact to not keep these doubts and fears from each other is yet another watershed moment in their relationship. Well done. And now we are getting to the last chapter in this story. One that will bring these beloved characters to a wonderful place in their lives. I'm very much looking forward to seeing that play out. Now...if only someone could encourage you to wrap this story up with a lovely epilogue...Who knows, maybe some of your readers will encourage you to do so... :-) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Whew...uhm...wow...this was AWESOME! Incredibly sweet and touching! My worry is how Sarah's going to react after Chuck's proposal?! Would she think it's too sudden?! Or, would she think this couldn't have come any sooner?! :O I'm saddened that the next chapter is the last! I was hoping for a longer story, but I'm sure it'll be great! :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() So good, loving all the fluff after all the angst :) Really loved the opening scene, I adore half-asleep mumbly chuck, he's one of my favorites! And the red herring of the black van and big scary/polite dude was great. And the scene with Clara was very sweet too, I can relate to Sarah's trepidation about newborns. Can't wait for the proposal! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hahaha...Okay, now THATS a version of Hurricane Ellie I can definitely see happening. I thought the dream sequence was a really great look into Sarahs mind. Not only does it say a lot about whats important to her...losing her own life means very little to her, but losing Chuck scares her beyond reason, but you could also say that Sarah's subconscious mind substituting Chuck for herself in a situation where she nearly lost her life represents just what Chuck really means to her...He is her life. I like the idea that Sarahs still struggling to put her spy instincts behind her. Spending the last 10 years being almost constantly on edge, knowing one slip up could get you killed, thats not something you just let go of in a couple months. It makes sense that she would still be struggling with this. At the same time, Im also glad to see Chuck is dealing with his own worries concerning the relationship. He may have grown more confident since meeting Sarah, but considering the life shes led up until now, I think its natural for him to worry that the life he offers isnt enough for her. The "I love you" moment was great. I love the idea of Sarah using a song to tell Chuck what she's struggling to say, and looking at the lyrics I think the song was well chosen. For the record though, the moment that stood out to me most was the way she found the song originally. Sarah listening to music in an effort to recreate that moment of happiness she had with Chuck and his family...such a perfect example of how empty her life as a spy was and how important those connections had really become to her. ...looking forward to the final chapter and all the fluff that Im sure will come with it |
![]() ![]() ![]() Outstanding. A very enjoyable look into the burgeoning life after for an exceptional woman. Can't wait for the last one. And then your next! |
![]() ![]() ![]() A lovely chapter thank you. Glad Sarah's found her perfect job and was able to tell Chuck, and others, how she really feels about him. Now for that perfect ring... |
