Addressing Sarah's issues and fear, nice move. It isn't easy Street when you start a relationship. It was a good idea to focus on the couples issues and the growth that they go through when the attack them together. Thank you!

Great chapter! I liked it. Well done.

A great chapter. Good to see Sarah doesn't want to be a gym instructor, I've seen that done before. The surfing coach is a good new angle. I liked that she wasn't so comfortable holding Clara, a good bit of human nervousness. One little flaw, you said Chuck had blue eyes when his are brown. Looking forward to the finale.

Good update to the story.

Sarah sure took her time to express her feelings. Wonder what her reaction will be to the proposal.

Keep up the good work.

Nice scene at the beginning. Too many references to Sarah's sexual past though. She has one, that much is known, no need to keep referencing it even though it was used to show how much different it is with Chuck.

Everything else flowed smoothly.

Awesome as usual. Glad to see Sarah get over her fears. I look forward to the proposal and more.

Beautifully done. Most readers want the 'happily ever after" for our favourite couple but sometimes in our rush to get there, we forget that there are real human emotions and failings involved in any actual relationship.

For Sarah, switching off her former life is not something that would happen overnight. Of course she would maintain some of her paranoia and suspicion, after all she was trained that way. You handled that very well.

I can only imagine what Chuck went through, waiting for those words from Sarah. It must have been agonizing, frustrating with that uncertainty nibbling at the back of his mind. His palpable relief was well portrayed. Ellie’s later reaction was well done too.

I did listen to the song. Beautiful and very, very fitting. It would have been a perfect one for the show to have used. ‘Feeling Good’ and the scene that accompanied it, to me remains the epitome of the right song at the right place, but this one is a close third. Third, because ‘Rivers and Roads”, though so bittersweet, takes second place for me.

How the song helped her to finally say what she’s wanted for so long was quite touching and heartfelt. That they both had unexpressed doubts about the other staying just adds to realism of your characters.

Having the story take place over the span of many months was a good choice, as it allowed us to see Sarah gradually falling into the pattern of a ‘normal’ life.

Very well done.

Only thing I'm sad about is that this is just about over.

Well, better late than never. As I mentioned, I think the boxing analogy reviews are done. No conflict no boxing metaphors...although maybe I could start one for Sarah and Courtney.

But as I've mentioned, I really love to read the chapter a few days after you post. It is so different from reading it as a beta, because the focus is on the details and flow. Reading it just as a fan really allows me to just soak it all in.

It was a little staggering to realize that the opening scene is about a third of the chapter. You turned what could have been a short moment and turned it into an epic display of the emotions, including fears, that Sarah was feeling. I really though that the moment when Sarah was ready to rush because she was afraid the moment would be lost, and Chuck slowed her down and took control was very poignant. Sarah is in Chuck's world now, and the confident Chuck, which she created all that time ago on that beach, is now going to guide her through this unknown world. And that scene, when they explore each other and make love, is a perfect microcosm of this overarching point.

I love seeing Sarah start to realize how much this world has to offer to her as we move through the rest of the chapter. Although Chuck is guiding her, it's interesting to see Sarah take some steps of her own to establish her place in this world. As funny as her jealousy about Courtney was, it also revealed that emotions, not spy logic, are her driving force now. Quite a revelation for her.

And her conversation with Ellie really reinforced just how much Sarah is trying to change, immediately coming clean and really speaking from the heart. Chuck thanks Sarah for diving off the deep end with him. This chapter is replete with moments that show, despite her apprehensions, just how true that statement is.

Another superb chapter in this story.

Extremely heart warming! Loved the Sallie moment and how surprised Sarah was when Ellie forgave her so easily! Chuck giving Sarah the famous charm bracelet and declaring his love was so Chuck! Loved it!

Update soon! :)

Enjoying this well written story very much!

Okay, no major thoughts for this review...just straight out enjoyment all around.

I like how you turned the Barstow motel scene on its head here. Instead of the frantic passion of that make out session, its a much slower, more intimate moment because these characters arent in a rush. Chucks not an asset, Sarahs no longer an agent and theyve got all the time in the world to be together.

Jealous Sarah is never not funny, and you cant help but love insecure Sarah. Shes always great when shes being cool and kickass, but shes at her most fun when shes taken out of her comfort zone.

Forget anything I said to you about "Hurricane Ellie". That was dead on characterization all around as far as Im concerned. No complaints at all with that scene.
...and I know Ive mentioned this several times, but I'll say it here again...Ellies genuine hurt at Sarahs betrayal/leaving was a really nice touch.

Awesome use of the bracelet scene. It didnt just feel like a forced insertion of a fan-favorite moment from the show. I think with the additional dialogue ("Its always been yours") you really made it your own and it felt like a natural part of the story

Great job as always, keep up the good work

im just wondering why everybody on this site writes bryce as a douchebag, when hes actually a decent guy in the show. chuck would not have been friends with him, and sarah would not have been together with him if he were as big a douche as almost every single one of you make him out to be.

Pure and unadulterated fluff. Loved it. Thanks!
