You maaaay re-consider why he didn't get xmass dinner.

In Surry, during xmass, at a time of year (especially 20 years ago) the grass he did not cut would be hard to find under the half metre or so snow I'd expect to see there.

Not to mention that even if there wasn't snow, the frost would ensure no grass could grow at all. Thus it wouldn't need to be cut.

Maybe he forgot to clean the roof in Dudley's room or something instead? Or Marge spilled tea on her bedsheet and blamed Harry?
That would be more logical.

I've never met a Brit that stepped foot in a church outside weddings and funerals in all the years I lived in London.

...but I admit I don't know much about the 80s and 90s there. Lol

It's just that you never see the dursley's do ANY form of prayers and whatnot religious shit cristians do.

And unlike in america, I don't think brits (or europeans in general) go to churches unless they're religious every single day of the year.

But, again; things may have changed over the last 20 years. I wouldn't know.

This story is pretty brilliant regardless. _

why is that ending just hilarious. maybe because all I. an think is that while Dumbledore and Hagrid would be devastated by that Snape would be so thrilled at the prospect. and knowing the look of disappointment on snapes face would be hilarious.

loving the story so far, and even more so because there are a ton more for the following years. have to say I did not think for one minute he was allergic as Vernon being considerate enough to test him with no ulterior motive did not seem likely. cant wait to read more.
