(Is the whole magical guardian thing real, or will he just try to convince him? I KNOW the psychology of dumbledore, and he'd never in a million years use any spells to control him. Not that it would work on someone who can throw off the Imperius curse and is hellbent on his chosen path.)

I can only assume Harry will either refuse to study and learn anything, and avoid wizards as the plauge...OR try to be 'Normal' and fit in, in the wizarding world...

The latter option will lead him to avoid Ron, because the weasley's are NOT normal. Neither is Hermione.

Draco... hard to say... The Dursley's always suck up to rich people, and I bet petunia always watches rich people on soap shows on the telly... He may emulate that. (Or he may avoid him to, because being rich isn't quite avrage. But it still is considered normal, in a way being poor isn't...regardless of how avrage either are.)

Never understand why people so determined on wasting months and years to write all that angty shit about Dursley's abuse on Harry. Rowling did that and she will be forever cursed for that, cruel bitch. But why authors here, on FF write thousands of word about this shit too? I would not waste couple of hours, if i would knew that this entire fanfic all about bullying, neglet, abuse. I realy hoped it would just first 2-3 chapters.

I am actually astounded here... This story, in its own twisted sort of way, has rationalized the Dursleys is a way I never thought possible. I am sorry to tell you this, but I think you understand the Dursleys and write them very well. They are horrible people and yet... I find myself sympathetic to Petunia's arguments here. She is not wrong, at least not entirely.

A great story, very well written. I am going on to read Part 2 of this series now.

Gods... This is the first story I have ever seen where Harry finally cracked the Dursley code of normal and it is so much worse than I ever imagined.
