I hunted down this fic, years and years after I first read it, because it's stuck in my head ever since. I truly think it's one of the most interesting versions of the identity reveal that I've ever read, and I love Danny and Dani being so focused on each other's safety, and I love the way you wrote both Jack and Maddie. We don't see much of them but I like your takes on Sam, Tucker, and Val, too ️ Thanks for sharing this with the world. Maybe next time I'll remember the title better and it won't be 20 min of google fu to find it

So, so good! I loved every minute of this fic! As much as I love angsty reveal fics, it was really nice to read something a little bit more light hearted. And your characterizations are spot on! Thanks for writing!

Well that was a full plate of adorable and sugar-coated sweet. Nice ending, final lines were excellent. I love a good speed-read and this whole story wrapped together really nicely. I'm recing it later this week. reccing? Recking? Wrecking. All this text and I could have just written recommend and had it done with. Guess that's just not my style.

A reveal by falling ASLEEP. That's one I have never seen before. Blessing unto your creative genius. And also this is so, so well written? Your action sequences just move from one step to another and I am just in complete admiration over here.

Just noticed these chapter headers are powerpuff boys and I fully approve. Your Valerie reveal in this chapter is probably one of my favorites ever. Danny is on the edge of a full reveal scenario and I a for it. Also what a fun read! Just, all around, delight dot com.

Aww this was adorable! Well, and horrifying in parts, Dani melting all over their basemnt stairs isn't a pretty picture... (not to mention that freaky monster before that...) But yeah, the ending is so heartwarming, even if everyone is bruised and battered, at least they are alive and together and safe. And happy too, I'd say!
Those monster fight flashbacks were cool, but tbh there should've also been one flashback about Maddie going to Vlad's, because I'd love to see how that went down and Danny's retelling seems to have been cut just as he was getting to the best part! Haha just kidding... (not that... not that I wouldn't love to read that... :D )

Dani deserves to be with a family who loves her and cares for her. She also deserves to be stable, phew, that was a close call. Also yay for the reveals! I thought Danny needed to detransform to use his clothes as a bandage, but if it was just to make Valerie freeze and stand still... hey, whatever works, right? :D And he does have a point about everyone trying to kill him at one point, I find it funny that it's not a viable basis of not being friends with someone anymore :D

That's HORRIBLE. Is Dani gonna be tasting line jello her whole life? She's gonna get tired of it so fast...
Otherwise this was a great story, brought happy years to my eyes.
