Reviews for Hand-Me-Down Ranma -- A Good Fit? |

![]() ![]() ![]() I wonder if Akane will grow up a bit and express her feelings? Nabiki keeps assuming that ranma will pick Akane, I know she gave ranma a week in order to be fair to him, but it doesn't seem to be very fair to Nabiki. I wonder if ranma will be able to make a decision once the week is up. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great job on this chapter and interesting reaction for the Amazons! |
![]() ![]() ![]() When it gets right down to it, Ranma will defend anyone who needs it from anyone else. Much like you've shown how he didn't fool around, and just shut down Shampoo. With that in mind, Ukyo and Kodachi pose little threat. Shampoo wouldn't either if not for Cologne. The two biggest obstacles here seem to be Cologne and Akane, for wildly different reasons. Akane is being dealt with as best she can be. I have no idea how you'e going to handle cologne. Tofu seems to be able to keep her in check, but he can't always be nearby. At this point in the story, Ranma simply isn't in her league. I look forward to your next post, and seeing how things progress. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This chapter and the last: D'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...so cute! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just read my way through, and I like where you've taken things. I have to say, assuming Nabiki can harden her heart and put her own feelings above Akane's, I can't see her losing here. Nabiki is not only honest with herself, but she's honest with Ranma as well. Plus she treats him better than any of his other fiances. Even back when she took advantage of him for her own profit, she was fairly honest with what she was doing. I look forward to your next post. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved ranma's trick! it's fun to see the two of them playing. very sweet and romantic. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I liked the humor in this chapter! I was really expecting Nabiki to charge Ryouga for directions, but I guess that her character is maturing too (glad she still teases though) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent chapter. I wasn't terribly fond of the part where it came to an end though. :p |
![]() ![]() ![]() I was pretty sure Ranma wasn't Akane's first love, he was her second. Tofu was her first, though that was (also) fairly one sided. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing job on this chapter and nice job on building a relationship between Ranma and Nabiki! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like the story so much better now that Nabiki is taking action! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nabiki's response to the violence from ranma's fiancees really changes the tone of the story. I like that she's not willing to put up with it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love Nabiki's plans! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Finally! \o/ it was so hard watching Nabiki go through that, although I felt like it really explained her character, including the dynamics with Ranma that make them a good match. I loved that Ranma figured out what Nabiki was doing, it was such a good pay off! both characters seem a little more 3 dimensional now. Ranma is good at figuring things out once he focuses on them, so it was very believable too! there was also something universal about Nabiki's uncertainty and unwillingness to be vulnerable, it seems very similar to Ranma's need to be strong. |
