Yet again, he is easily manipulated and used, but that's understandable thanks to his father. Its almost as if Nabiki is simply just curious and what did make her fall in love, remains to be seen...Its certainly not his intellect, which is lacking thanks to Genma being thorough with brainwashing in that training trip.

The only thing Ranma gained from training trip is being an expertly focused martial artist and being tough. It'll take a while for Nabiki to get Ranma up to "standards". She can manipulate into making him take his education serious.

Ranma really needs to make a stand for himself and he is only proving himself be weaker by getting manipulated at every turn.

Your portrayal of Nabiki is good with those bit of mods to make her not such a hollow individual. But Ranma is still without mods, still his canon self being dumb and easily manipulated. You could add a few mods to Ranma too and not make hm a seem too dumb and a total doormat.

Really think Nabiki should explain to Ranma that if he is going to walk around semi-nude then he should expect people to take advantage of it, he should know better. Still, Nabiki should just get rid of the photos and stop selling him out, if only to make him see what would happen if she didn't.

Excellent wonderful chapters

As much as I love differential pairups from the usual canon matchup, I fail to see how Nabiki of all people would be fit for a gullible jock like Ranma! unless you give Ranma a bit of brain cells to make him seem less dumb.

Nabiki would be the one seeming too dominant and controlling in this relationship. She is intelligent and manipulative and that would undoubtedly make her seem like a control freak and Ranma being her doormat fiance.

Why would someone intelligent like Nabiki fall for someone who is a magnet to chaos, a puppet to all and a jock? The only redeeming factor for Ranma is his kindness and being a looker. His curse is a misfortune and just a punishment on his male ego and pride. There is a cure and its shown in canon.

Well, despite my reservations, this is turning out very well. You may be sticking a little bit too close to the canon at this point, but I'm not sure that's any worse that veering off on a completely unrelated tangent. Nabiki is the butterfly causing the changes to the storyline, so until she begins to make those changes, the rest of the world is going to act the same around her.

The other fiancées are the first thing Nabiki would have to deal with anyway, and I'm not sure she had seriously considered the consequences of being seen as a rival for Ranma. And she obviously still has ulterior motives in mind. So we'll have to see how her feelings on the engagement evolve.

Fun chapters with the girls fights for Ranma and him having to protect Nabiki from them. Maybe Nabiki should be collecting those weapons, they can't be cheap for them to keep having to replace them.

With it being Nabiki they just attacked, I'm surprised she didn't immediately take the legal route and sue them. And I'm wondering if Ranma will figure out that while shes having fun with him, she was sincere about what she told him.

Great to see you back. I normally don't go looking for alternative pairings (I have enough fanfic to read already) but the good authors always get a shot. And it's off to a great start. Can't wait to see where you go with this.

If Ranma is smart ...he could see that, he is merely a trophy for them. Doesn't he get the feeling that he is being USED by his own family and every fiance he has and yet, he willingly becomes their doormat?! Its almost as if he is...submissive.

I had thought Ranma to be a possible street smart considering all the hardships in the past training trips. Then again, he could very well be "brainwashed" by Genma with views and ideas.

Nabiki seems to be the one in full control and stringing him. Why she fell for him, seems more along the lines of how hot and strong he looks and naturally kind at times.

They could also pretend to break off (if they really fell for each other) and resume their relationship, when Nabiki finishes highschool and go to college outside Nerima and maybe, if Ranma keeps up with her, he could join her too, away from Nerima. At least, this is how I could see a Ranma and Nabiki pairing happening, as Nabiki is too late for martial arts to even defend against experts.

Anyway...I'd like to see where this goes, so far its been good!

One disadvantage of Ranma being paired up with Nabiki or even sometimes Kasumi in other fics is that, they got no martial arts training and only Akane has early repetitive training and at least keep hitting those bricks every damn day. Even if Akane is not on Ranma's or Xian Pu's level...

It'll take a long time for Nabiki and yet, she wont reach hardcore level of Xian Pu or Ranma who has had very early training and more ingrained muscle memory.

Maybe Nabiki could manipulate Ranma into taking his studies see as "challenge" and keep up with her and they could move out of Nerima to escape the chaos/madness.

I'm sure, Nabiki wont like Ranma if he is slacking in his studies.

Do people really think it's "super rare" to see a non-Ranma/Akane pairing in a fanfic? That's just not accurate. True, Ranma/Akane is the most popular pairing by a wide margin, but it's certainly not hard to find other Ranma pairings around here.

This is looking to be a good start. I hope you'll continue it.

So glad to finally see a NEW NabikixRanma story on here, and it certainly helps that it's well edited and the narrative flow is good. I've honestly always liked the idea of NabikixRanma ships, like you stated: Ranma needs someone to help him mature rather than someone who'll throw a tantrum.

I'll be eager to see how this develops.

Its been a hella long time since I saw a "variety fic". Ranma fandom is filled with Ranma and Akane pairup so much that its gotten too repetitive and boring.

I was hoping for a challenge pair up of Ranma and Ukyo or Kodach or even Xian Pu. Ranma vers is more adaptable for change verse fics as the series itself was too crazy to begin with.

So far, its a great start!
