ZozoLadybug16 chapter 6 . 1/19/2018 why did you have to end it like that? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA |
Guester chapter 6 . 1/13/2018 One of the best action/adventure fanfics of this show i have read. Very well written and perfectly thought out. The ending is understandable but I'm sure that everyone who has been in a situation similiar to Marinette's with the last scene could feel her pain. Awesome story! |
ChibiMusouka chapter 1 . 12/19/2017 This was a wonderful written story. Though the end came quite abrupt and left me in tears it was still a good point to end it. I haven't looked of you actually wrote a sequel by now, but this story definitely deserves one. Very good work. |
cherryflowerblossoms chapter 6 . 6/10/2017 That was an abrupt ending for sure. Definitely left a lot unanswered or accounted for. But still a good plot line. |

Basil Allegri chapter 6 . 3/10/2017 They reject each other... it's sadder in your version of events (you did a good job of writing emotions), but it will never stop being slightly hilarious too. Irony is my favorite. |

SJJSpice1 chapter 1 . 1/6/2017 Really enjoyed this story. The Marichat scene was really a heart-throb, Chat comforting a slightly traumatized Marinette was sob worthy! Th ending was great and rally annoying. If left me wanting more and really frustrated that I had know idea what the next story was called. Now know: Shatter Me. Great story, again the ending was amazing and frustrating - you really love to use cliff hangers, don't you - really want to know what happens next! (; |
Haynart chapter 6 . 12/31/2016 Oh that was a beautiful fic. Thank god my mind has the strength to create it's own turnout of this story, knowing it won't be continued. Your writing is truly immersive and matches the characters. Most fanfics I read tend to stray from how I'd picture the character to actually act, but you portrayed it well, and brought in some beautiful MariNoir that I love oh-so much! I'll just tell you the quick attempt to formulate a full ending for myself. I'm definitely not as qualified, and I making it up as I go but yeah. Faith, trust, and pixidust! xD Here you go: - As Adrien sat in class, he watched everyone who entered. Class had begun. As the teacher was lecturing the class, he heard someone slip into class and he looked over. It was Marinette, looking sheepish and out of breath. Slipping the teacher and everyone else in the class' notice, she sat in her seat and arranged her things. Adrien didn't dare turn to get a glimpse of her, only relying on his enhanced hearing to puzzle together what she was doing. He also noticed something about her... she wasn't breathing as smoothly. He couldn't feel her staring at him throughout the duration of class. At all. He meant to talk to her during lunch, but as he made his way towards her, he noticed something. Marinette ran up to Jean and touched him on the shoulder, causing him to jump. With his enhanced hearing, he eavesdropped on their conversation. "Hey, Jean. So umm... I-I've been thinking and I think that I'll take up your offer for that date. I think I just realize now that what I've been previously striving for is unobtainable. What do you say?" Marinette stuttered. The same stutter, of a sort, she would use around him! "Uhh... I don't know if that would be best. And didn't you already say no?" Jean replied back. Cat Noir's threat sure did affect him. Marinette sighed. "I guess I was just confused why anyone would ever actually want to ask me out. Caught in my blind antics, not realizing that the person I wanted never truly cared about me. And here you are. The perfect guy, and I rejected you. But I understand if you changed your mind." As Marinette began to move away, Jean grabbed her shoulder, stopping her. She looked into his eyes and waited for his reply. "Uhh... I would like that very much, actually. How about tonight at 6? I'll come pick you up and we can wander the town, maybe stop at a restaurant." Marinette smiled a wide smile, "Sure! See you then." Then the two parted, leaving Adrien slightly confused. He was still processing that Marinette had actually asked out Jean, after everything that had happened. - She had spent probably an hour getting ready for her first date. She had made the dress, hoping she'd wear it on a first date with Adrien, but he obviously wasn't interested, as he had told her to her face. Marinette had decided to wear her hair down for the date, mostly because she didn't feel the need to do anything with it. Anyway, she was wearing a red sundress with small black poke dots on it. Yes, it was ladybug inspired. Of course, she was wearing her Miraculous, which were red, matching her dress. She wore red sandals, and she had a large floppy sunhat on her head. After checking the mirror one last time, she was sure her makeup and her outfit were okay. Then, she heard knocking on her window. When she turned, she saw Cat Noir, waiting. And she stood up, opening her window to let him in. "What are you doing here, Cat Noir?" Marinette immediately asked. "Just making sure you were okay, princess," he replied. "Oh, I'm just getting ready for a date, who knew? Anyway, I'm just fine, healing well." Marinette showed off her healing scars. "N-no, I mean about Adrien. I heard he broke your heart..." Car Noir shook his head. Marinette blinked, "Oh. You-you could say that, I guess. Though shattered fits the description better, but I understand. Wouldn't exactly say anyone would ever truly like me, but Jean does, so I'm going to give him a chance. I also, well, I also hope It'll help me move on..." The girl looked down. She couldn't talk about this. "I umm, I should get down to be ready for my date. Uhh, see you around, Chat," The sad girl continued, turning away and climbing down to the first floor. Chat Noir watched her climb down, and jumped back out her window, gracefully. He intended to follow on their date, seeing as he had already warned Jean to stay away from Marinette. Just then, a car pulled up, and out stepped Jean, In a fancy tuxedo. He also wore a classic red bow, but held a bouquet of soft pink cardinals. He walked up to the front door and knocked, to have it be opened by Marinette herself. "Oh, hey Jean! Aww cardinals, my favorite. Thanks!" Marinette cheerfully said, but Chat Noir was clever enough to detect in her body language that she was still shaken up about Adrien- him... The girl beckoned for the boy to come in, as she found a vase for the flowers. Once the flowers were placed in a vase, Jean smiled at her and whispered softly, "Shall we?" Marinette giggled as the two of them headed out the door, they were quite comfortable in each other's presence. Chat was quite shocked at her behavior, and watched the two walk off into the distance. He did not understand how she went from being so sad to being that smitten in a matter of time. In all honesty, Marinette was still uncomfortable around Jean, but she hid it well. This was because whenever she saw him, she would picture him as Adrien, to spare herself from her own shattered heart. Deep down, she knew she'd never be in this sort of situation, but she liked to think that way, to think that Jean was just an illusion, of a sort. A being that could never harm her. On the inside, her heart was dead, and Marinette didn't feel herself capable of feeling human emotion. Being kidnapped by Wavemaster, then getting her heart broken by her only true love in one day was more than enough to bring the sweet, courageous girl to her knees. She was dead on the inside, or dying of a broken heart. Only one thing would save her from this untimely demise, and that was a kiss from her only true love, the boy who took her heart and smashed it with a hammer, Adrien Agreste. She wasn't really listening to his jokes, but when he laughed, she would, too. Marinette knew enough about Jean to not worry about him asking her any questions since he mainly enjoyed to keep the topic on himself. From behind a chimney on a house the two passed, Chat Noir sat, watching. This was, of course, until his ring beeped quietly, signaling it was time to go. Reluctantly, he left the couple to their date, knowing he would ask for the details from someone, later. Besides, he was so tired, and so he used his staff to vault back to his house, where he jumped back into his window, detransformed, and collapsed on his bed. Adrien feel asleep immediately, just in time as to not hear Plagg demand cheese and question him of his intentions. - (I honestly don't think the characters were portrayed well... Heh I think this is becoming a 'what if' story and not an actual scenario that could actually happen between the characters. Since Jean was Wavemaster and he hurt Marinette badly, most sane people would know that she wouldn't want to be near him, whether he was still powerful or not. Just thinking I should make Adrien/Chat Noir jealous and whatnot. Anyway, continuing on!) Chapter 7(? I don't really know) The next day at school, Adrien saw Marinette come in, on time. She was expressionless, emotionless, and he was sure he saw dried tear trails on her cheeks, but as she looked at Alya, he noticed that she twisted her features into the most convincing Marinette smile she could muster. Class hadn't started yet, so he eavesdropped as they conversed behind him. "Hey, girl! How was your... date... last night?" Alya teased. "Oh. It was uh- I mean, it was great!" Marinette faked excitement, causing Adrien to cringe. "Tell me ALL the details, I must know!" Alya continued, still oblivious to what Marinette was hiding. (In all honesty, I know Alya would sniff out the fakeness from a mile away and Adrien wouldn't care enough to eavesdrop on one of their conversations, but yes, it is officially a 'what if' continuation thing) "I- how about later?" Marinette blurted, desperate to not allow anyone to suspect. "Okay... but I WILL find out!" Adrien could hear Alya's mischievous grin in her words. - That night, it was time for Cat Noir and Ladybug to patrol, but Cat Noir noticed that Ladybug was at least five minutes late. He didn't notice anything at first, didn't push why she was late, but as they looked over the city, Cat Noir was sure he heard her sniff. He peeked at her from the corner of his eye, not wanting to provoke anything, and noticed that she was silently sobbing beside him. "What's wrong, My Lady?" He inquired, worry flooding his senses. "Oh." The same 'oh' Marinette gave Alya. Why did that pop in his head. "Umm, it's nothing, really." Cat Noir raised an eyebrow at her awful lie, and decided to push. "Really, Bugaboo? I think I have the smarts to know when you're are upset. Pawlease. Tell me what's on your mind." Ladybug didn't even roll her eyes at his pun, but she sighed. "Okay, but don't judge." She looked him in the eyes with the uttermost seriousness that he only saw when she was trying to defeat an akuma. Or when Marinette was trying to design something. Seriously, where did that come from? Then she sighed again and continued, "So the other day, at school, the guy I l |
