I love this story on every way and cannot recall how many times I’ve read this now - and amazingly I never fail to shed tears and laugh out loud whilst reading the same chapter! This here is why this is a gem of a tale. I love the Blythes and it’s a crime that LMM didn’t give us more of them in her words. So thank you for bringing them back to life and in such an incredible way. They seem to fit so seamlessly with how one would imagine Gilbert’s parents to be. Pure magic.

Bahahaha re-reading about his Imhotep skull when Dahmer is on Netflix adds a new perspective about our Gil!

This was such a lovely story! You do the perfect amount of romance and fade to black! What color are baby Joy's eyes and hair? I need details! Gilbert was so romantic. Very swoon worthy!

I just love that chapter! I know you had said earlier that you were not sure about doing an elopement or getting married back on the island. I think because of their age and level of independence, the elopement is perfect! I also love the passion and his ability to let his love override that passion for her. I like how he did things the right way but still was a rebel by having her spend the night. Very romantic to spend the night with the man you love and yet not do anything. Very very romantic! Can’t wait to read the next chapter.

I truly hate the length of time that A&G were apart, but I do love their 2nd chance...
