Reviews for Reprise I |

![]() ![]() Well your obiwan is an OC with Obiwans, but your yoda is just spot on. |
![]() ![]() This seems somewhat out of charecter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I enjoed reading this fanfic very much. Having the future and past character knowing each other was new for me. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This series has literally rearranged how I think about the world. It has shaped my formative years and has been a place where I could find comfort where nothing else could. I want to thank you, dear author, for flinging this out into the void, for publishing something that could have easily stayed in a notebook. You have given me the ways with which I better understand my self and can finally articulate my feelings that previously, frustratingly, could only go unnamed. This work has been a source of comfort, of safety, and of self-exploration, and I want to thank you for making this. This is the only fic that I have consistently come back to every season for the last 4 years and counting, and it has allowed me to reflect on the changes I have undergone in that time, as well as how this fic resonates with me in ways others never could. I cannot thank you enough for making such a great impact on my life, and I wish you the best in life -Raven |
![]() ![]() ![]() Such a pleasure to read this epic. In your debt for such a fine Obiwan Fic and can't wait to read the next ones! Starting..., NOW! Thank you:) |
![]() ![]() I so enjoyed this AU. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I would hardly listen to these people crying OOC while holding a PhD in George Lucas Psychology and a Masters in Legends. |
![]() ![]() ![]() small nit pick, but gamorians refuse to use anything but melee weapons. They don't use blasters or any modern tech in the star wars universe |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my goodness, as I got nearer the last chapter I kept glancing to the last update date at the top of the page, so worried because I knew I was nearing the end but the story was definitely not near the end. I am so relieved there's more! Excellent story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not a huge fans of the prequels, but I couldn't put this down. I love that Obi-Wan has gone far enough back in time to really make a difference. I'm about to dive into Reprise IIso excited! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love this story, it's really well done. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It’s all too easy to just keep going with this story and not leave a reviewthe writing is just that engaging. But I’d be doing a disservice if I didn’t pause here to say that I am rereading this whole series for at least the sixth time after the new Obi-Wan show reminded me of it and rekindled my love for it. Funnily enough, it was your story, not any part of the Star Wars canon, that made me fall in love with his character. Reading this series again almost feels like a homecoming. One thing in particular I want to call out that hooked me from the start was how Ben’s arrival in the past, even after the time travel thing was cleared up, created instant and lasting tension between him and people he had once seen as close friends and mentor figures. That simple acknowledgment of their skepticism and the character driven tension you fully explore later was just so satisfying to read. Well, I’ve rambled enough. The rest of this story is calling |
![]() ![]() Now that you mention the drama, author, there's been very little war going on in these Star Wars here. It's kind of weird when you think about it. |
![]() ![]() You know, author, it's glaringly out of place when an omniscient narrator randomly interrupts a third person viewpoint to say, hey look at this character. Especially if it keeps happening at the end of consecutive chapters. |
![]() ![]() I'd say what the fuck is this extreme coincidental nonsense, author, but this IS Star Wars you're writing about. So, keep it up. |
