I do enjoy this story. I think it's too bad you had to kill off Hermione. Can you just imagine a fiction with Harry, Hermione, Luna and Neville in middle earth. What a team especially if the were a little prepared say each had a trunk with a setup for a walkabout with libraries greenhouses and some modern equipment. Woohoo that would be awesome. Good job with this story just wish it was updated faster.

also rereading your notes from chapter 1, my guy, i think this work is so amazing, the sheer amount of care, detail, personality and more that you manage to keep and convey from the original while also showing how all of these changes occur is nutty, i think by far this is tour best, but im biased, as i think adult harry who fits in and adjusts is better, but still, by far, i think this is your best, and its simply incredible, my only sad thing is that i cant simply fast forward time to see this filly finished/fleshed out/completed, bc i love this work

Love the story. Like you said though, time skips and brief Info dumps for them are needed to bring it to Tlotr timeframe and can finish the story with it. Like harry and turiel joining galadriel sailing to the west. The true finish would be in the mind of the reader

Brilliant as always. I think you're on point about the lotr show. It's so bad I think it was done on purpose. You only have to compare it to the movies but then again maybe it was made by the same people who made the golum game.

It's a good thing I checked your profile. Seems I missed the email notice last week. Anyhow...in-laws! Bah! Though the bit with Legolas was good. Kinda surprised his court would let him go off to Erebor without any security. I mean, not that he'd be attacked in friendly neighbor but..even Celebron doesn't always leave without such security.

Anyhow, it's a bit presumptive to assume Elves have no military strengh.

That being said, I'm kinda lost who Sauron was referring to when he asked of his spy within Misty Mountains, which I presume he meant goblintown. The only thing I can think, of is..Gollum? ZBut that doesn't make sense. Unless he meant Harry? no idea I don't recall you ever using that name before.

Hey, I just have to say thank you for writing this... I have read ballpark 500 books and countless countless other books online and in person and this book beats every single online book by a fair margin. It is simply the most enjoyable read such that I have reread it twice over. Thank you for writing this. If you want the truth I honestly think you fixed the Hobbit making it a better story than the original... This work doesn't match the Salmarillion or the LOTR trilogy but I truly feel that this book wouldn't need to be ashamed to be compared to them. Thank you for your engenuity and writing I know that some things look a little awkward when you squint mainly Harry Potter in Middle Earth but my love for this novel seems to flow more brilliantly because of it.

Brilliant chapter! Rather enjoyed it! The world has to be built before you can play in it. Thought you did a really good job building on the foundation you've laid. (And Tolkien, too.) Enjoyed how Harry interacted with the dwarves and the elves. Poor guy; having to meet the in-laws, especially ones that do not approve of him. Never mind that he's been busy saving the world, as usual... Glad to see the Blacklocks getting some comeuppance. Perhaps they will learn from this. (Please?) Looking forward to the next update! Can't wait to see it!
