Rio47 chapter 25 . 10/2 Awesome mate I couldn’t stop reading. |
kano547 chapter 25 . 10/2 Great chapter, this is coming close to matching Wild Wolf as my favorite story you've written. It really is a crying shame that Rings of Power is so bad that an actual fanfiction is not only more accurate to the world, but is just such a better story. Honestly if Amazon had put all that money into making this into a tv show then it would be doing way better than the trash they've been wasting money on. |
sh777 chapter 25 . 9/30 Thanks for the update. |
Guest chapter 25 . 9/30 Your language is certainly Tolkienian. :) I love it. I miss such frills in storytelling. Thank you so much for updating this fic so quickly! And it's a nice update, too! I love Bilbo's POV the most, and Harry's. I love travel fics/chapters. I love the cultural bits you put here, too, especially the compliment about soil about a farmer's character. Estel's POV is admittedly eh to me. His age is not interpretable from this, and it reads more... 2-dimensioned. A little abrupt, too, regarding the revelation of his name, while Elrond earlier promises that the name will be revealed when he is older. You ended things on a cliff-hanger... Now I wonder trepidatiously of what wickedness Saruman will lay on these 2 forces and how he will aid the Easterlings this way... O_O I (morbidly) look forward to it, just so that I won't wonder anymore! But I look forward more to the end of the long travel of the dwarves and what other cultural titbits you'll show us. :) Rey |
Semi-Immortal Cat Akumu chapter 25 . 9/30 Yep definitely like where this is going. Rings of Amazonian Foolishness aka Rings of Power by Morgoth |
shirousagi87 chapter 25 . 9/30 Yout story is much better than that... monstrosity amazon call ring something, they are destroying tolkein legacy |
XxWildHeartXIIIxX chapter 25 . 9/30 Always glad to see this little gem getting updated. |
HowlnMadHowie chapter 25 . 9/29 I get the feeling Sorryman (I'll never call him by his real name) is trying to ingrain himself to Thorn to try to learn of Harry's runes, for his own personal gail (for his own personal army). That said I'm kinda confused why Harry doesn't just...reducto or incendio the thorn bushes. Or better het, if Thunderbelly says they don't thrive well in hot environments why notplace a warming or adapted cooking (heating) charm on them to cause them to die. Oh and, just a thought but when Harry stops by Rivendell, with Tauriel they should take the time there to, y'know...LEARN TO RIDE A HORSE!I mean both of them not just Tauriel. It'll come useful later on if you're taking this all way to ROTK. Speaking of Rivendell, I note Arwen hasn't returned yet. Are you reserving their meeting until Aragorn is bit older? |
Hank1967 chapter 25 . 9/29 Excellent chapter! Really enjoyed it! Loved all of the detail, steeped in the Tolkien lore. Enjoyed the Harry/Tauriel time. They fit in rather nicely with the story. Thought you did a good job with the beginning of what will surely become a campaign. Wondering what Saruman is up to... Not a fan of that backstabbing waste of space. I do hope he doesn't give the dwarves any trouble... Update soon please! Can't wait to see what's next! |
Eternalking500 chapter 25 . 9/29 Another amazing chapter, I hope you update again soon |
fireflashphoenix chapter 25 . 9/29 another good chapter, have to ask though, is mkoloan a reference to Oan M'koll? |
Travis99 chapter 25 . 9/29 Saruman is always up to something even if he hasnt turned evil yet i think, he is not one to trust |
Immaterium chapter 25 . 9/29 Enjoyable chapter - the travel, preparations, descriptions of craftsmanship, little bit of action, arrival of Saruman - setting the stage - well done. I always look forward for new chapter. You can rest assured that it is much better than certain blasphemy that-does-not-need-to-be-named ( and I have only seen a few scenes - it is still a time that will never be returned to me ) |
Z.L.C. genesmith chapter 25 . 9/29 I can't help but imagine that, sooner or later, one particularly clever Rune Master among the Dwarves is going to, whether by accident or by intent, discover the Dwarven Rune of Sorcery. And once that has been accomplished, it'd only be a matter of time before the Anvil of Doom arrives in Middle-Earth. An artifact that will ring triumph and glory for Dwarf-kind, and all their allies, whilst also becoming the object of nightmares for the slaves of Sauron. |
aesir21 chapter 25 . 9/29 Intriguing development and those poor dwarfs. |
