Damn took me a couple of hours but I made it thru the chapter. Loved to see the easterlings finally beginning to move and starting to check the dwarves defenses. And saruman finally showed up at the end, I figured we wouldnt see him till another couple chapters.

He got out into the world lulled by the songs of dwarves, and to him it was nothing but a sour experience. And now he is a stout advocate AGAINT going out.

Homophones in the wrong place really.
I noticed their presence but did not take them in note. They were sparse, three or four maybe.

Really enjoying the story! Minor edit for this chapter though, Andiril is the reforged sword, not the blade that was broken, which is Narsil, unless you mean that the name has already been decided upon long before it was reforged, in which case, fair enough

Really great chapter. Lots of background here but background built in with style and useful flair. As always I look forward to the next chapter of this and thank you for your hard work on it.

Well that's bad news, hopefully the dumb wizard won't sabotage the dwarves in his quest for power, he's got to know that Sauron has to be destroyed if he's going to have any power and influence at all, it's in his best interests to absolutely aid the dwarves in this war.

I'm hoping you'll have him at least not sabotage them because in my mind it wouldn't make sense. Without any allies he will never beat Sauron and rule the world, even someone as delusionally power hungry as this asshat should know better.

Ah shit, the heavy choice of Bilbo killing Gollum is taking its toll and Saruman showing up cant possibly be a good thing. At least the wild card that is Harry will be able to tip the scale at the hour of need hopefully or at least salvage what can be saved, to fight another day

Saruman will try to take over, or interfere where he will cause problems.
