| Manisca Rye chapter 44 . 7/23/2021 I'm sad that the story ended but happy that we got a conclusion rather than just left without an end. I didn't always enjoy the multiple POVs, though could see the necessity of them, but loved the format of several events happening in a chapter without being dragged out. I also love that you went with Ashara Dayne being Jon's Mum because I don't care for the whole Lyanna as his Mum storyline. And I loved reading about the end of the Targ's and the ushering in of a new age of peace in Westeros and even how the free folk were incorporated south of the wall without the 'Others' being involved. I liked the brief reference to Ygritte when Jon saw her die on the battlefield and just observed her for a few moments before he continued on. Overall, wonderful story that was an enjoyable read. I came across this story when looking for Rob and Margaery stories and got a whole lot more that I ended up enjoying. |
| Manisca Rye chapter 42 . 7/23/2021 I have been enjoying this story and just sad to see it hasn't been updated since 2018. I found some of the details doubtful, like how did Aegon's host transport so many elephants from Essos to Westoros on ships over a long sea journey. But the story was still enjoyable even with needing to suspend belief about some of the details present in the story. |
