![]() ![]() lmao Rapstartes |
![]() ![]() ![]() the romance was wholely unnecessary and adds nothing to the story, but subtracts with its meaningless subplot and work you put into it, it doesnt make sense in this type of story and will only serve to drag and add drama in the future for the worthless protagonist. while i cant write to save myself, i have read too much, and thats my humble opinion from previous examples. |
![]() ![]() ![]() will we ever get an update cause this story is such a good thing. why? becuase it catches the unseen hope and change in a galaxy that must now change from its cycle of endless war. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is so cringe, the way you're portraying his kindness is fucking annoying. Kindness is not equal to weakness, or naivety, or straight up retardation. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "So we do not suffer in the long run" and yet nearly all conflict the Eldar have endured has been self-inflicted due to having so much pride and ego that they refuse to cooperate with the Imperium. Except for Ulthwe and Iyanden, who both often work with the Imperium and rarely come to blows with it. Iyanden especially is, it seems, a rather close ally with the Imperium. So much so that its diplomats walk openly and unguarded on Imperial worlds instead of sneaking around and Iyanden families host Imperial diplomats as live-in guests. Perhaps a better question to ask her is why the Eldar seem incapable of understanding that the future is always in motion. Their plans often go awry or are used against them because they fail to understand that what they see of the future one moment is not going to be true the next moment. Their farseeing, though not useless, is very unreliable. Ten thousand years of getting their asses beat into the ground for nothing has not taught them this lesson. Maybe it's because they're not people. They're biological weapons. Also, Solomon is dead wrong about aliens in the setting. What you forget is that the vast majority of aliens in 40K are leftover bio-weapons created by the Old Ones. This is why they're so monstrous in they're behavior and why they did the things they did in the Age of Strife. They are incapable of peaceful co-existence with humanity. Heck, the same can be said for the Tau thanks to the Eldar's interference with their genetics and development. Some can be cooperated with, and the Imperium has many protectorate species and even some allies or those whose neutrality it respects. As for unity...not really. There has to be a universal foundation for what way of thinking is dominant and the whole of the matter is built upon. For example, in the modern west that would be western European cultures and philosophies. For the Imperium, it would be Terran ways of thinking and cultural hegemony. With aliens involved, it would have to be humanity or else anarchy and too many cooks in the kitchen would ensue. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well... given that this hasn't been updated in years... it was a great story while it lasted! |

![]() ![]() ![]() Entertaining. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting, though I admit to concern of potentially too little willingness to fight and kill. |
