So many fanfics and novels fail to correctly apply modern military terminology during combat scenes but you've aced it (among everything else) imo. Don't think I've ever seen "Commander's Intent" or "phase lines" used. Either you're ex-military or you've really done you're homework. Either way, keep up the great work!

here is something that may be cool to see, a 3 way between the collation reapers and flood, humanity forced to tell the truth about the flood and end of the human covenant war the forunners halo ect and millena never falling decided to give humanity access to the domain and constructs a dreadnought similar in size to a CSO supercarrier for the UNSC (like has the SMACs of the infinity as the secondary weapons of the dreadnought which can render parts of a earth sized planed uninhabitable with one shot) after the reapers decide to stop fing around and commit an all out attack with their full might. that story line would be cool, the SR 2 Normandy gets fragged and the UNSC, Turrians, former covenant species and remants of the systems alliance come together make a SR-3 Normandy with MACs, plasma weapons, prowler stealth suites, Chief gets command of blue team, 03/ Alen and Noble 6 get added to blue team officially

Of your 3 halo crossovers, this chapter is the only one to actually leave me concerned about the welfare of our heroes and the galaxy at large. A Flood Infected Reaper? I want my mommy. I feel nothing but despair and hopelessness at this point.

I vaguely recall that somewhere in the A.N. of one your stories, you mentioned that all of the Secret Spartans would meet up in again. Are we getting close to a point where I get to see Lucy in action again?

If it's being hinted that the Flood is controlling the Reapers, then why bother with the infection thing at the end of this chapter? If the Flood isn't controlling the Reapers, then who is? It's pretty much said that the Gravemindor a Gravemind, if not worseis calling the shots, but of whom? We have to assume that the Halo 2 Gravemind was pretty ignorant of what was happening around the galaxy, else it would have acted long before the events of the game. If that's the case, is there another Gravemind controlling the Reapers? If so, why? All these questions and more are keeping me hooked: Good work! Can't wait to see more.
