It is ironic that, if I'm reading this correctly, Kushina left to keep him safe from the fox but in so doing is unwittingly driving him to her. Can't wait to see how this develops. Keep it up! Also, the Naruto/Hiruzen scene was gold. I hope the story has room for more interactions like it.

Don't let him forgive them so easily. They frankly need to work to get him back into their lives. They abandoned him without even making sure he was okay. Kushina even left him alone in the yard of the school when she was to pick him up. They can't be forgiven just by saying sorry, they need to explain why they did what they did and be truthful and nothing else should be acceptable. Just my thoughts on abandonment.

So I was right. The reason he was locked out was because kushina forgot to perform a crucial step. For someone her supposed level of skill and power I guess incompetence is the wrong word. It's one of those situations where you just give the person that silent judging look while shaking your head. Miri genuinely seems to want his company even if she has any other ulterior motives. Also if he gets perfect scores on tests and practical skills why would his final grade be so bad? Is attendance really that large a percentage of the grade? And technically he is attending, he just isn't in the class. Even iruka knows he is there. You would think that he would score him better for that. Also sorry if you mentioned it at some point but where does he sleep now. Does he really live on the streets or does he have a safe house? I doubt he would deem the streets safe enough with his current mindset so I am guessing it's the other. Can't wait for the next chapter, this story is too fun. P.S. I was surprised that you had kushina realize her mistake so soon.

So Kushina finally gets a clue as to what's been done. At least we know that she hadn't done it on purpose, though simply forgetting to add Naruto the the seal matrix is just plain sad. Hence it is even more upsetting that she refused to return. What are they seeking to protect him from? The Akatsuki?

Tsunade and Kurenai interacted... surprisingly Well. There was much less negativity in that arguement than I expected. And now they've got a plan... which won't even work until one of them can find Naruto. That part is frustrating.

Glad to see that Naruto is kicking ass at the Academy, though his choice to find a pack intrigues me. Wonder who'll be in it. The only other thing that really concerned me was how much apparent influence the Kyuubi is getting over Naruto. That can lead to nothing good. Well, I'll find out in a week.

Will the pace of this story be picking up soon, because as interesting as this story is, there is only so much you can read about the struggles of an eight year old before you start getting bored

Well this was interesting and I do love the longer chapter lol. I figured there would be noway noone would be looking after Naruto and the very hands off approach fits Kakashi's personality very well. I am still pissed at Tsunade and Kushina with Tsunade now taking the lead. That fucking drunk shows how much of a shit person she is, at least in my eyes. She was so quick in her mind to think of herself as his godmother and blame others for not telling her that he needed her. But when she was called out on being a godmother she was so quick to deflect the duties that come along with with it. She even said she wasn't to mother him when she is his GOD-MOTHER. It is in the name lol. The two of them are just shit to me seeing how all they can do is pass blame to each other because it is the easiest thing to do and even came up with some shit idea that doesn't give ether one of them any real responsibility over Naruto just enough that they can wash their hands of him if need be. To be honest I really like Tatsuki, but I get the feeling she might not last long. I mean people in her line of work tend to have very tragic ends even more so in stories like this. I would be happy to see her live and even become someone really close to Naruto, maybe even be his first time when he hit his mid teens when his sexual urges start to really bloom. Which would be interesting if he becomes very use and good at sex from Tatsuki. Which even she has to start to admit growing feelings for the only male in her life that seems to care about her. The time with Mito is very nice as well, I can just see him making a piano or some music in his mind and even them sharing a ballroom dance. Which I think it would be very sweet and epic if she changes her size and age to match Naruto's as they dance and Naruto seeing a Mito his age would hit a cord with the lad lol.

Anyway great chapter, can't wait to see more

I've been reading fanfictions for around 3-4 years about now and this has to be one of the best I've come across. I really hope you plan to write until the end.

I do quite love stories like this one.

Kushina managed to fu*k up again. She will be getting a surprise when she gets back won't she.

Amazing chapter. I liked how concerned tsunade was about naruto. I also liked her argument with kurenai. I also liked how iruka is noticing naruto. J also liked interaction between naruto and shizune. Also liked how you portrayed ayame. I also liked the bonding between kurama and naruto. I also liked how you didn't bash kushina. Wonder from whom is she protecting naruto from. Eagerly waiting for the next chapter
