And Peeta kinda knows, even if she didn't tell him outright, after her actions when she got back home from her visit. But I agree, she's been a bit of a b****. She was during Catching Fire and Mockingjay too, the way she kind of played them against each other, so I was trying to keep her as close to her true character as possible (which is hard, I will admit, since she's so complex).

This feels more AU than canon compliant. In the books, her feelings for Gale were put to bed when she felt relief at Gale's absence from her life after the war. But in this fic, she can hardly take five steps without thinking about Gale. She's still using Peeta. She still hasn't mentioned her kiss with Gale. What a bitch.

I swear you better make them kiss soon or else ):(
