Reviews for Shards of Impossibility
INFUSCATE chapter 29 . 9/18
I still don't get why you didn't go with the obvious option of Cauldron using their resources to open portals to other worlds, Alex expanding into them, devouring Eden's shard Network, then using Noelle's shard to make clones of every useful cape. Then Alex becomes another entity, uses Blacklight's ability to adapt and evolve to push his powers to the limit, finds Zion's true form and eats him.
INFUSCATE chapter 26 . 9/18
"The biggest argument in canon against psychics is that they'd need huge brains to process all the information they receive, and probably to project their thoughts" - This just isn't true. It's representative of how Victoria (and pretty much everyone else) knows NOTHING about powers. If there WAS a real psychic (The Simurgh is pretty close) Their shard would handle all the heavy lifting... They wouldn't actually need a bigger brain... So unless you make the dude a case 53 or someone like Narwhal whose powers changed their physiology It doesn't make sense.
INFUSCATE chapter 14 . 9/18
"You can go now, legend. You've made yourself heard." - This shoudn't have happened. Piggot is one of the directors of the PRT, Legend is the head of the ENTIRE fucking Protectorate... It's something people usually forget since Alexandria (or rather, Rebecca) is in charge of the PRT but still, you do not speak to your boss like that lol.
Kiradien chapter 1 . 9/14
I love the idea for this story but... Honestly? Dana and Alex have been dumbed down to Skidmark level intelligence. In a world like Worm, there are plenty of ways for Alex to profit. Bounties on Kill Orders are canon, and there are several open kill orders that Alex Mercer is the perfect counter to. Seriously, Blacklight Nilbog isn't even a question, and that includes all his countermeasures.

As for Crawler's adaptability? Eh, an argument could be made, sure, but Blacklight is also adaptable and works at the bond level without the weakness of a CP/CG that parahumans have. The math of nigh-infinite adaptability with a weakness vs infinite adaptability with a weakness comes up pretty clear.
Lypros Melfdan chapter 1 . 8/26
"She can't ignore the laws of physics"
"But strength doesn't mean speed"
Well looks like she can after all, "strength" is speed, and the impact is a correlation between speed and mass. Just because video games make speed and strength different stats doesn't mean it is in real life.
Guest chapter 9 . 8/9
Going down hill in quality mate
Guest chapter 3 . 8/8
No need for the alliance
Guest chapter 1 . 8/7

Man Man chapter 22 . 8/1
Uhg, this fic is just too damn interesting. 9.5/10. Made me pull an all-nighter just to keep reading it. Phenomenal most of the time.
Man Man chapter 10 . 7/30
First things first, I don’t like the plot points. Secondly. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, that is so lame what happened at the end of this chapter. Thirdly, this review doesn’t really matter. Fourthly, deep fried banana cheeseburger.
johnzeckleston chapter 3 . 6/20
Imo would have been better to just give Taylor the blacklight Virus and go from there. Not liking this Alex Mercer and Dana in this worm verse.
Dayside chapter 10 . 6/14
I'm dropping, this is so fucking moronic my brain is dribbling out of my fucking arse.
Holy shit this is beyond, BEYOND plot lmao.
Dayside chapter 7 . 6/14
Such bullshit. There is absolutely no way they would allow him to be killed after that slugfest.
Hat lady would woop their asses for even trying.
Dayside chapter 6 . 6/14
Dana, pls die. For the greater good of the reader.
Dayside chapter 5 . 6/14
The Mercers are really weirdly stupid. Like they're not even trying to conceal his sister's identity.
