Reviews for A Little List
anamq chapter 1 . 1/16/2016
Hello girls! Sorry it took me so long to read this story. I've to say this is one of your best Wilson/House stories, or at least the one I enjoyed immensely. The humour is this is genuinely pure humour. We can see these two are really friends. There is not a shadow of meanness in their pranks. The story itself is very entertaining, fun to read. It could easily be adapted to the show. It has a good vibe and the characters are truly in character.

My impressions while reading it (sorry for the long text):

"bring me another beer while you're there", "well, open it", "get it yourself", "do it yourself": These two moments made me laugh out loud (the same on many moments throughout the rest of the story). Nice comedy. I can see the actors playing it. and having fun with it.

"Last week's Indian takeout"... brrr. "In lonely splendor": love it. This is truly a spartan fridge.

Wilson is so fussy with cleanliness. It's like living with a woman, pardon the stereotype.

He even needs a shopping list! I rest my case.

He knows the layout of the store! Now, that's scary.

"I know another place we can go" I have the feeling this trip will never reach the end. They are still looking for a store even as I write this review, aren't they?

Just so you know, I would never buy anything from a place called "The Garden of Eatin". I'm with House 100% on this one.

"There was something satisfying about filling up a cart to stock a kitchen" Wilson is more than a woman, Wilson is a housewife!

"House and I are all about community spirit" LOL

"Only in crime": stress on "crime".

I knew House wasn't making the list.

"He'd be fine". Famous last words.

"They'd be out of here in ten minutes, tops". Wanna bet?

"Organic Ethiopian grind": You got to be kidding me. LOL
Instant coffee is not even coffee.

"This would come in handy as future blackmail material". Glad to see that shopping didn't distract Wilson from what is really important.

"Crash". Of course. As soon as Wilson said that House could drive a motorbike in his sleep I was expecting some scooter accident.

"In a pile of boxes-all-natural organic panettone". Wilson's attention to detail is uncanny. He should moonlight as detective. I don't know what panettone is.

"Doctor Wilson". I'm imagining a scenario similar to the kart race in season 7: Wilson and House banned from this store, for life.

Love reading this story. It gave me pleasure. You girls did I fine job. Thank you for writing it.

"Either you come with me, or I'll buy nothing but disgustingly healthy food."
Has Wilson never heard of the UN Convention Against Torture? I'm shocked! And Garden of Eatin'? They need to be sued for Use of Painful Puns.
What a Jolly Holiday with Wilson and House! Thanks. (Oh, and I want one of those glittery cards, pretty please!)

Hahaa this story was fun. Shopping with House would indeed be like shopping with a 5-year-old. Great ending too :D

Thank you very, very much - for the picture, the smiles, the flickering lights, and even the smell. Lovely little piece, and the elf had it coming.
