Beautiful poem! I just finished The Great Gatsby for English. Great job!

Poor Gatsby. I really enjoyed this poem (it was actually worth looking at, unlike most of the ones on this site). I kind of failed the test on 'The Great Gatsby," so I don't really know why I'm here, but oh, well.

Initial reaction: that was awesome! , Really I was very much impressed! It was very fluid and smooth, I liked the meter, and your use of strong words made the poem really come to life. I honostly loved it! Luv to hear more :)

Wow... it was so deep... the words were all meticulously chosen and the message was beautifully tragic... tuly Gatsby... I loved it all. Magnificent job. You truly understand Jay Gatsby, the main character of my favorite book. My favorite part of the poem was:
" Silken shirts and golden dreams are torn,
ripped through like flimsy paper,
mask fallen and fractured,
Fading away with life’s blood.
I am from those inclinations—
Frayed before I lived fully—
Forever surrounded in oblivion. "
Truly a gorgeous poem. Words cannot describe how great it is.
