Reviews for A Single Decision (Take Two)
Guest chapter 53 . 8/22/2023
Well, it has been a year since we had an update for this incredible fanfiction. Hopefully we will see a new chapter soon, or at least an update on how the progress on future chapters is going.
PoofyOhio chapter 46 . 8/21/2023
I’m surprised Esera hasn’t requested some more droids like BX series for ground ops and anti boarding actions after what happened with the clone commandos
PoofyOhio chapter 41 . 8/21/2023
This is such a wildly different interpretation to the force than I’ve ever interpreted it, and it’s so much more interesting than anything I’ve ever read.
NamelessWanderer6 chapter 52 . 8/18/2023
As someone already stated we are now only a day away from the anniversary of when this story last updated. I hope that a new chapter is coming soon but if not at the very least I hope that this is not discontinued or abandoned entirely. This is one of the best Star Wars fanfics I have ever read with phenomenal worldbuilding and characterization. I’ve already reread this fanfic around 3 times and I hope to reread it once again only this time with reviews if only to point out all the things I like in each chapter to motivate you into coming back.
Also this review is supposed to under chapter 53 but I already reviewed that so whatever.
PoofyOhio chapter 18 . 8/18/2023
Not even twenty chapters in and this is already a phenomenal read
DaemonWhitefyre chapter 53 . 8/18/2023
Only one day left before an entire year without an udapte. So sad! But i can understand that life and work can get in the way. Hoping to see a new chapter soon!
The Citrus Principle chapter 52 . 8/9/2023
I have particularly enjoyed Grievous's transformation from mad man, to Vlad the Impaler in Space, and finally into Esera's surrogate father. It's more heartwarming than I would have thought a warlord/war criminal could be. My Hat's off to you for that.
The Citrus Principle chapter 53 . 8/9/2023
This is the best shit that's ever been in Star Wars. Full Stop. I feel retroactively robbed by ALL of the movies - yes, including the original trilogy - because none of them hold a candle to this. I was sorely disappointed to find that it appears to be left incomplete. This is me crossing my fingers for an eventual conclusion.
Guest chapter 53 . 7/31/2023
Man naotw is like that God damn nerd emoji. "Uhhmm actually this doesn't comfirme to the lore"
naotw chapter 45 . 7/24/2023
Sanya pushing the tram is impossible. Being metallic does not equal being frictionless.
Why didn't the clone that shot Buna headshot her? A specops clone at that?
Their suits have IR sensors. Sanya hiding and trailing them around the bridge and engineering isn't possible.
How would Sanya overwhelm the last clone with a lightsaber she has no experience using?
How did the last 2 clones not hear the tram crash, let alone it moving, and instead reacted only when the rocket was fired at them? Were they deaf?
The whole ARC encounter comes off as contrived. Will clones ever be shown as absurdly competent, skilled and disciplined as they are, over the common portrayals so far? Especially the last clone that just toyed with Sanya and Zule over killing them immediately when down. The characters are memorable, but that situation would have them dead.

Will Esera ever stop thinking she's the righteous, good girl doing good things and just accept her faults over ignoring them? It's grating how she's barely grown out of this for nearly a year since she joined Grievous.
naotw chapter 44 . 7/24/2023
Great chapter
Cooldude101011 chapter 48 . 7/23/2023
So what happened to Fives? Also other clones do make jokes and stuff. Or do you just mean that Rex does it more often? Maybe that’s just Ventress’s view?
NamelessWanderer6 chapter 53 . 7/12/2023
Wish you would update… This is by far the best Star Wars fanfic I have ever read.
naotw chapter 41 . 7/6/2023
Dooku's interpretation leaves questions. Odan's revised texts don't appear to deny ignorance and death, rather their philosophy. Death means the end/complete loss, but there is no end in the force. No ignorance implies that one always knows something, not that knowledge is a pedestal to attain. The reasoning given for both are too shaky for the jedi to have survived 2 sith wars with. Moreso seeing the relations to the jedaii code.

Passion, chaos and emotion look to be wholly denied, yet they can't exist without their counterparts; serenity, harmony, peace. Apathy is the opposite of emotion. Serenity and peace can be emotions themselves.
In the end, both jedi and sith philosophies are mostly false, despite what is cherrypicked in them. They delve into extremes of the force. Other less known force using groups were largely fine(tund, night sisters, the 3 celestials) till one of the 2 got involved, it was mainly them that had repeated wars and restructures.

The living force part is spot on. The last part is a contradiction. Dooku just acknowledged the dark side as a natural, constant extreme of the force. Why say that there's no light side in opposing effect?

Hope this clears Esera's mind of her delusions.
naotw chapter 40 . 7/5/2023
Odd for Sanya, given her rationality, to not see through Esera's naively idealistic hypocrisy. Esera's speech to her, especially where she compares them together, came off as too arrogant for one to not have some thoughts on it, separate from her practical considerations.

Rather idiotic of the Emberlenes to give out that many troops that they weakened themselves locally. Also, was their earlier fleshing of constant war and anti-piracy propaganda among them? Would be hard to justify their enemies if so, pirates don't do prolonged wars.
Plus weren't they effectively destroyed by this time? How are they surviving the sun guard?

The service corp has an entire council overseeing it. The jedi have departments. Dubious to interprete them as a forgotten, 2nd rate division. That would apply more to the sentinels and their classes, that have no direct ties to any council.

In one of Grievous' personal ramblings in the clone wars, he mentions the arquitens as well armed and armored. How did that change here, given that its main issue is its speed?

Again, odd that Tarkin, or anyone else in his group, isn't effectively thinking beyond Kuat, or looking at any of the thousands of different anti-piracy/raid ship classes produced over the millenium by various companies. Rather dubious of him to change orders that fast without considering the economic shifts.

Only the NTB's have been consistently noted as bombers, what of the y wings, are they elite ships?

Nice choice on the nebulon. Great design.
