![]() ![]() Traitors, those Separatists are! I do hope their plans will be thwarted at the right time. Great chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() it's good, but i still like the original |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for another great chapter, treachery is a foot it would seem. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I wonder if Gunray actually wants to try this. Maybe he will sell them out to Grievous |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am ecstatic this excellent story, one of my all time favorites in any genre, on this site is being rewrite and expanded. A suggestion, please do not delete the old version. It has its charms in spite of a few flaws. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good chapter all around! Now this got me thinking; The calmness of Captain Tuom before his suicide attack; was he a fanatic to the Separatist cause? Otherwise I would've thought he'd be more angry at the enemy for taking away his future, everything he could've been. I don't presume to know what a man would possibly feel/think in a situation like his. I just thought there would be more emotion. Maybe, in witnessing his grief/anger, the seeds of doubt in the Jedi Code (the No Emotion-part at least) could've been planted in Essera's mind. I don't know, you know the captain best. Maybe he's lost so much, his own life has no value to him anymore. The separatist council meeting or 'shouting match scene' was very well done. It truly shows, why the leadership of CIS was one of the bigger reasons for it's general, less than optimal success, in just about everything. They were in it for the money, which probably suited Darth Sidious just fine. |
![]() ![]() That was great, having Esera fight for the right cause was very good. Also, I couldn't help but chuckle when Tikkes appeared. His line was pretty comical! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I certainly have an interest in stories where Grievous gains power in the Separatist faction. With Dooku and Sidious dead, there's an opportunity for Grievous to actually make the Separatists focus on real issues. Though what I think would actually be most interesting in this scenario is if the Separatist parliament was actually made relevant now that the two main political manipulators are dead. In addition to Grievous continuing to act as their highest-ranking military commander, of course. I thought it was a little vague what happened to Grie ous in the beginning before Anakin and Palpatine were killed by droids. Did Anakin's lightsaber hit a circuit breaker? Did Grievous faint? What caused him to 'lose time' in that scene? I also thought the death of Anakin and Palpatine should have required a little more fighting. I can buy Palpatine dying suddenly, esp if he was still chained to that chair-thing. But Anakin was a fully armed Jedi. I just don't see him dying to a few, or even a lot, of droids. I think killing him early on like that makes for an interesting AU concept, but I feel Grievous should have dealt the killing blow, maybe after having his magnaguards soften him up a bit. I think Grievous speech is really a good addition. It really gives him a chance to show off a little. I think Obi Wan's scene is good to have too. I was wondering where he had ended up. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Makes sense. There were automated Recusants during the Battle of Kashyyyk. Source: Rise of Darth Vader |
![]() ![]() I love how you pay attention to the details showed in the movies about the CIS ranks! Your logical explanation is quite good and gives great insight about the Confederacy. I also really liked the representation of the conflict, you really showed how grey the war is! Keep up the good work! |
![]() ![]() What I meant was: Leave it up so readers can compare your "humble beginnings" with how you are now. Nobody in the history of ever was super awesome right off the bat... Show people how you have grown. |
![]() ![]() Bro, I thought the original was actually pretty good. You don't have to delete it,.. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like the idea of Grevious actually becoming kind of heroic by pushing back the invaders rather than attacking. It'd do good for how he appears to the people. The CIS need somebody to believe in at this point considering how badly they've been screwed over by the Sith. So what do you think of the newer clone wars timeline? I kinda like how you've made him abrupt, and I hope he regains the ability to inspire people to the point where after his death, his home world raised him to deification status. That's charisma in Grevious's blunt way. I also wonder if Sideous's identity will ever become public knowledge, with the ensuing cluster duck that follows. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good chapter. Despite it's shortness, there's a good amount of things going on to keep readers satisfied. I like that you made division among the jedi and clones, more human like that I say. No more that "knights in shining armor" crap. Now normally I'm all for more frequent updates, but I think it's better that they are uploaded at a regular pace of your choosing so you have more time to yourself (and to write new chapters) and there's no big hurry or pressure. That's my honest opinion that should benefit even us, the readers, in the long run. (althought in my heart I know I should've just cried for moar updates) |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was great, you show good insight on the Confederacy but I don't understand why you should use the latter chronology in the story. The idea of the Battle of Yavin being 0 seems fine |
