I wasn’t expecting Sakura to bargain organs for Sarada and her freedom, I was thinking it would be whatever stuff she researched and might have bluffed her way to doing a procedure on him that would have poisoned him and killed him off. Im excited (and nervous) to see what happens next!

Awe for zoo!sasuke and little shit sarada trying to manipulate her parents lol. Oh no for the panic attack, i am worried about her positional change. Also as a grad student i can 100% corroborate that some days the research do not be researching and you do stare at the wall for hours

Poor guy almost gets murdered and then mentally flagellates himself about it. I’m glad Sakura patched him up and Sarada is such a damn sweetie

Yay for pseudo coming to an agreement! Sasuke had definitely been out of line with the spreading the legs comment but Sakura doesn’t seem to grasp how dangerous Madara is even though she screams how dangerous he is. Silly woman. I’m so happy she got to see Ino. I hope she gets to see Ino more and her parents again too

Hmm as far as an ending? I could see it going a few different ways. Mainly though I can see either Sasuke leaving the Uchiha to take Sakura and Sarada somewhere they could be safe from the crime ring, or Sakura like being a super badass and really resonating in the role of an Uchiha matriarch and like turning the whole operation on its head and making it legitimate (like Tsunade had with the Senju). I could also see Sasuke turning himself in in some capacity like as a final way to maybe release Sakura and Sarada, or you know the incredibly dark suicide time but I’m not hoping for that one.

Ahh he’s catching feels but in true Sasuke Uchiha fashion has no idea what to do about it. He’s always given away when he calls her annoying.

Awe, his internal conflict of being mad he wasn’t told about Sarada but his ever consistent realization that had he been told she would have turned out effed up is a fascinating thing to explore. I also like that Sakura mimicked the sexual stuff from all those years ago and that he still refused knowing that she wasnt in the right head space. Also slightly sus that Madara would be suspicious if they didn’t spend the night together, because i figured he had already realized fhe dynamic of their relationship

I also struggle to get any reviews on my work too. Its tough. But! I like passive (?) Sasuke here, the fact that he is really trying for Sarada. I like Mikoto working to be kind to Sakura and Sakura realizing it even though she’s upset about it. Also the ‘you didnt want to be the one to break me’ was a brilliant line and his response that he was a coward. Fascinating to see that he can be all badass yakuza boi but when it comes to anything in his life he doesn’t seem to bring that same vibe. Good thing though. Well done!

Happy incredibly belated birthday! Loving the story. Am mildly curious if sakura will become Madara’s personal doctor. Im also hoping that she gets to see her fam and friends again
