Could just show Harry how to bond an Elf with Winky or Dobby...or both. Winky is bit more stable than Dobby is and could maybe settle him down some if Named Head Elf of the Grant-Snape household.

It's really strange. I'm unsure if you have another fanfic with just this 2nd arc but I've read this second arc before as a stand alone fanfic. I just read the first arc and had never read it before but I distinctly remember this arc. So, either someone has stolen the second arc or you have broken it up into their own stand alone fanfics.
