So this is dead now right?

Man, re-reading this series once again. Damn it was good. Wish we'd had more. :)

This got me thinking about how Lelouch would react to the real world. I imagine it would be similar to how you've portrayed it, at least initially. Going from a war-torn and colonized Japan to a peaceful and prosperous one is a massive step up, as is going from a world of naked colonialism and constant war to one that at least tries to seem peaceful. I think he'd naturally be attracted to our timeline's history and political philosophy (the latter of which would probably be especially interesting considering his timeline's only real ideologies seem to be monarchism and liberalism, whereas ours is much more diverse) and then once the dazzle of a significantly less nakedly shitty world wears off he'd start noticing all the systemic injustices our world forces upon the unfortunate and he'd be unable to stop himself from trying to fix them. He'd probably dive into the middle east to get right back to the fight against imperialism.

Of course, that assumes he wouldn't have a far more interesting set of problems fall right into his lap before he got the chance to do that. I look forward to seeing his reaction to the stupid and horny world of DxD.

I am quite sad to see this tale seemingly abandoned. Well written, excellent prose, solid grammar and structure... but above all your Lelouch actually feels like Lelouch. His demeanor, his cunning, his pragmatism, and arguably above all his unyielding nature. He’s still playing his own game, surrounded by multiple factions larger than anything he’d ever dreamed of facing, and still he refuses to bow. Goddamn, I fucking love it.
Hope to see this updated at some point, it really was an excellent read. Cheers, mate!

Ah, even after my tenth time reading it, I never get tired of Topple Your Kings. I only wish you had any plans to update it. Still, the story that you've given us is more than worth it.

I think I do love this little fic. I have read many crossovers with this world but they are mostly reactive in nature. our dear zero though is anything but reactive. Audacity in the Realm of Uncertainty is his calling and his skill.

I enjoy this story. despite the power difference he would obviously be the shark in a pool full of fish. though the octopi give him pause.
I like this story I can actually believe the story you have written.

Stories fantastic. You’ve got Lelouch down perfectly, and seeing somebody use intelligence and cunning in a setting like Dxd is a welcome surprise. So many of these shows underestimate the power of some good old fashioned charisma, manipulation and planning. Every big player needs to stronger than everybody else, when in reality that’s hardly the most important trait a good leader needs to have. I know you’ve most likely abandoned this fic, but I enjoyed what little there was too see regardless.

Hey, just finished reading through this story today after starting... today. Yeah, it was good. Shame you don't seem to be writing on here anymore. As a guy who got burnout with his own story I can say that the quality you've shown with this work is enough for me to say I wouldn't mind reading more from you.
