Reviews for Smallville's Worst Kept Secret |

![]() ![]() What a lovely story |
![]() ![]() This is really great. I write some he-man fanfic, and I gotta say that everytime I watch the old show I chuckle imagining that everyone knows his secret (both his selves look identical). |
![]() ![]() ![]() I liked it, and of course people would make connections, even I would. |
![]() ![]() Such a great story! It left me wondering what Dell thought after he had seen Clark with that "young nosy reporter"... I'd love to read more Superman-related fiction! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, I love this! So many great touches, like the bit with the Denny's getting more business because the IHOP was damaged. Yes, it feels very protective and small-town-ish for them all to close ranks around Clark and Martha. Beautifully done! I especially loved how effectively and quickly you created a series of original characters. Great insights. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome idea! I love how all of the Smallville residents judge Clark on his kind, polite actions, rather than his alienness - these are the people we really want handling First Contact! :) Also really enjoyed the format of the story, with each of them noticing things, and then never mentioning them to the media. Clark is just the sort to inspire this kind of friendship and respect! Thanks for writing and sharing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Excelente. Uma história muito bem escrita. Eu amei. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh wow it's great that someone has finally written this! I remember the comments about the people of Smallville kind of being aware of Clark as 'different'. What a fantastic take on that idea, and I loved Ida, especially throwing the bent utensils away. Classic. Funny though how everyone still thinks of Clark as "odd", I guess even superpowered aliens aren't immune to that stigma! |
![]() ![]() Nice! I'd add the preacher, since Clark outright told him he was the one Zod was after. I really like the way several folks turned it into an opportunity to mention their businesses, and the way the town bands together to protect its own from the nosy outsiders. Not sure how Lois Lane was able to get info, but that was before everyone knew exactly who Superman was, so maybe that's why they're more secretive now. |
![]() ![]() ![]() WOW... this was excellently written and I enjoyed it very much. :) I've added this to my Man of Steel community and thank you for writing this wonderful piece. BRAVO! ~Shani :) |
