A nice little one shot! I would like to see the phrase "could care less" amended to "couldn't care less", however. The modern American slang version of this phrase was a bit jarring.
I think you're quite right in noting that there's no way Harry would be the first person to ever be polite to the goblins. I took a very different tack with my goblins, but I like your interpretation too! I especially that the Ministry is getting in the way of cheques and credit cards being introduced - it makes a lot of sense.

i really like your goblins, i see no reason why they have to be dicks to EVERYONE like some pople make them for no good reason.

Nice take on the goblin interaction. I do think that the goblins in HP canon mostly can thank themselves for how they are treated, as they are NOT known for being polite or kind themselves. The idea that they treat any sale as temporary, and evidently without informing their customers about it, is a case in point.

Thank you for this one shot. I would like to see à much bigger story. It's à very good one shot who can make à great story with Harry using is brain and the help of the goblin. Maybe in second year because he treat fairly thé goblin again or on thé first year because he défend them against bean teacher and thé pureblood.

I liked it.
Another chapter detailing Harry getting new clothes/shoes/necessities would be nice. Harry could use this as a wake-up call to transition to a "Harry uses his brain" story. I love those. ;-)
