Oh sweet god. I am immensely grateful you wrote this amazing story. In fact when I began looking at zootopia Fanfiction after watching the movie, this was exactly the kind of thing I wanted to see. Just Nick and Judy working for the police, being best friends, fighting crime. And this story was that and much more. I absolutely love the fact that you decided to expand the story on the predictor vs pray theme the movie merely touched. In the original the whole thing ended on an undeniably positive note, but even so, people that are biased only need excuses really. But of course, given what the prime intended audience was, Disney could not present how truly complex society is and operates.

As for Nick and Judy, personally I don't care if you make them romantically involved or not. (I wouldn't object to it either, as long as it's not the main focus... typical, badly written relationship drama is abundant in this fandom) But ambiguous scenes, like in the ending of the movie would be more than welcome. Plus I get the feeling that even so, you would maintain their friendship bond and whatever comes next will just transcend from that. Also Finnick and Weaselton. Include those little fellows more, they are hilarious.

I don't have much more to say really. I was absolutely hooked, your writing style appeals to me greatly, and in this last chapter in particular there was this great sense of urgency which made me truly worried about Judy and Nick, and the whole society of Zootopia. In fact I would go as far as to say that this story is my favorite in this fandom so far. Great job, and I'll be looking forward for the sequel!

Goddamn, that was good! Very nice work, author. That ending was really spot on! Really had me there, with that Hornsby and Nick face-off. I was literally at the edge of my seat, knowing that Hornsby had nothing to lose at that point. Amazing job, really.

I realize that I'm commenting on a status update, but after much parusal, I have just come across this story and spent every spare moment of my time reading. Wow, just... WOW. While there may be some grammatical errors, they are pretty much superfluous when compared to the quality of your story! I have read so many other amazing Zootopia/NickxJudy fics, but they usually scarcely focus on actual story or delve as deep into the character of the antagonist as you have. You are right, I very much disliked Hornsby, but when finding out what actually happened, you find yourself stopping and starting to see things from his point of view. I love the way you wrote Judy in this, so fierce and stubborn and determined, you also wrote Nick beautifully, I SO cannot wait to see these follow up stories!

I was starting to wonder what you were up to, so thanks for letting us know. Really, after reading this story and liking it so much, I'm excited to read the next two you have planned in the trilogy. It's nice to hear that Chief Bongo will be one of the central characters in the next installment, and it will be fun to explore that character a little bit.
