| Zapenstap chapter 1 . 6/1/2005 Oh, this is beautiful story! I love this anime and have recently finished it and begun getting into fanfiction and other things. This piece of yours is inspirational for my own fanfiction endeavors. You capture so well the surrealism and beauty of this production and this pairing. I LOVE this pairing. This is my favorite part of your story: as that long and winding tale came to its conclusion they were left behind like velveteen rabbits or well-used marionettes to sit silently on the edge of the stage. That's a really beautiful image, especially that last part about sitting silently on the edge of the stage. It must have taken some painful writing or a stroke of genius to come up with that (I don't know about you, but I experience both). I also like the image of Ahiru's reflection in the lake a "framed with white feathers." A lovely image made lovelier by the alliteration. Thank you for writing this piece. I really enjoyed reading it! |
