I love the story so far. Your writing is good just some things need to be flushed out more and you need to use some better transitions for where the story changes times and events.

I occasionally return to this story, hoping to see it updated. Perhaps one day...

Too bad you won't finish this story. Maybe the writing isn't the best but I quite liked the story you told till that point and the conflict between Harry and his not-parents has the potential to be a great story arc.
