First time through.

I'll be stopping on this chapter as it seems like a good enough time to stop. Nothing too crazy has officially kicked off yet and the Paladin's have a perceived win. That being said, I am really enjoying this story.

Like with your DC story your original character integrates very well into the world of X-men, and to a lesser extent marvel as a whole. His power set isn't too overpowered, even if you said he could level a galaxy in 30 years. The only thing I think could be a strike against Sol, or his powers, is that there isn't anyone who can make him work for his victories. By that I mean the guy's powers are either shrugged or highly effective. This wouldn't have mattered so much but when an enemy can no sell his powers then they can usually also kick his but in hand to hand. The two exceptions are the Quentin fight and, bizarrely, the Blob fight. And if I'm being totally honest I would have liked to see Sol and Blob duking it out without any help from outside forces. The large man can either tank or redirect a lot of Sol's range stuff so it would have been a Slug fest as the guy tries to sumo Blob off the bridge. But that's just me.

OC's aside the story arcs of this fic have been outstanding. Each step along the way the world expands and the characters deepen. While I'm not sure how much of that expanding lore is purely your own creation or just you adapting the source material to meet your needs, the end result is still a great story. And I can't wait to see where it will end.

Damn this story makes me feel miserable. No joy, no satisfaction. Just pure angst and hardship. I'm half expecting a chapter where the mc is strapped to a chair while watching random schmucks take Laura and Pixie.

As far as cosmic space beings Bellamy could have attracted the attention of, the Phoenix isn’t the worst. He could have caught Knull’s eye. Or Galactus’. Or the flying purple people eater himself. At least the Phoenix isn’t inherently evil. That said, holy crap. When this hits, they’ll have to bring in extra fans.

SPOILERS FOR DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE BELOW

Just watched Deadpool and Wolverine this weekend, and couldn't help but think it would make for an amazing omake or side story if through Multiverse shenanigans Bellamy ended up in the Void and tagged along with them. Plus there was a live-action version of Laura in that movie too, so it would be interesting to see Bellamy react to alternate versions of his girlfriend, mentor, and Deadpool (although Deadpool is pretty much the same). I can already imagine Movie Laura also developing a crush on Bellamy and then meeting Extraordinary Times Laura:

Movie Laura: (Hugs Bellamy) Mine.

This is my favorite chapter so far

Okay, not gonna lie. Kind of annoying how you just keep saying like “two weeks of this….” To time skip. You’re telling me no one fucking talked to him for a month?! Idk about you, but as a teenager and I don’t have any social interaction for a month at a brand new place you aren’t familiar with, with a bunch of weird crazy people and shit going on. That shit would make teenage me so utterly depressed and verging on suicidal bruh like wtf. But he’s just like oh yeah I been going to school here a while now. Don’t even know anyones names or anything… like wtf? At the very least a teenage boy would be tryna find out the names of the cute girls in class or SOMETHING.

So like is Kitty Pryde the only teacher at this school….? Like he ain’t talking about anyone else…?

I have to say this fic is great, especially your OC has some interesting powers, especially how it changed some events like that pf Astonishing X-Men comics, although eh, some like the return of Magik happened after the Scarlet Witch event, did Bellamy in that universe affect that event?

but it was still great especially how his powers are practicing and bellamy is growing up he's not like other teenage mutant heroes he's more of an anti hero hmm maybe you plan to make him team up with the runaways or young avengers hmm also hey an idea for maybe a new power now that he has a small part of the phoenix, perhaps like (itadori yuji from jujustsu kaisen or tsunade from hitman reborn) he can manifest those flames in his fists fused with light as a power up

God can't believe I got to wait another year for the next chapter. But with this quality makes sense

Took me the whole week but I got done rereading this after getting into the X-Men comics so I now know who people are. Definitely can’t wait for the next update, easily the best X-Men story I’ve read on this site.

So once again we've got an X-men team with:

-A regenerator with adamantium claws (Laura)

-A telekinetic powerhouse (Julian)

-A leader with laser powers (Bellamy)

Plus, didn't Julian and Laura have a thing for each other in the comics? It's literally Wolverine, Jean Grey, and Cyclops all over again...now all we need is Julian throwing Bellamy off a cliff so he can hook up with Laura. Because hey, is it really the X-men without any love triangles?
