Umm... didn't his reaper say, "don't stand out... you have to pretend to be 12 again"... I'm paraphrasing... but what 12 year old knows bombarda... or is cold hearted enough to take a man's arm... I mean, it was Lucius... so I enjoyed it... but he's 12...

And all the oaths... how does he explain knowing all of this... not his silly "I read" comment because... he doesn't. Hermione and friends would catch him out on a lie for that one because he doesn't read...

For supposedly acting Slytherin in Dumbledore's eyes... he's not being very sneaky about his 180 switch... if I were Dumbledore, I'd be thinking Voldemort took over Harry's body down in the Chamber and is possessing this completely different individual...

Nice touch though with calling Ginny his 'sister.' That should help slow down the Weasley big family thing.
Great Reaper... although teaching Harry all of that magic, animagus form, occlumency... etc... felt like a cop out to be honest...

So I'm sorry... but I give this only a 5 out of 10.

Why doesn't Harry know wordless magic? We saw in the movies how awesome the duels looked, just magic vs magic with no stupid childish cries of non-existent butchered latin words. Every time Harry cries or shouts (literally shouts, it's written like that) his incantations I can't help but be frustrated at the sheer idiocy of dunderheads who literally shout which magic they're gonna use...

When it comes to the “Manipulative Old Fool” style, I like to think that the FOOL part is done by the inability to adapt to unforeseen changes. Say what you will, but Dumbledore does often fall into that category even in cannon.
He could not figure out how the Chamber was being opened in B2.
He could not keep the Dementors out in B3. Hell, Wormtail’s unknown presence in the school for 7 years is a sign as well.
He could not control the chaos of the Tournament in B4.
The sheer clusterfuck of the summer between B4 and B5 with that idiotic communications ban. (Honestly that is the BIGGEST piece of evidence of Dumbledore actually being a MOF in canon to me. A full third of Harry’s issues could have been averted with a couple of letters from Hermione and Ron.)
The less said about his ‘actions’ in B5 the better.

I’m currently rereading this fic and your little AN at the end of this chapter just jumped out at me. That and the fact that I’m having to isolate because of COVID...I have far more free time than I like.

Oh so very convenient to show Cassieopia blaming Harry for Cedric, Bertha death. As if Remus and Sirius, two grown up adults and experienced much more till then in war had no brains of their own to not stun and or bind Peter. Conveniently putting blame on a 13yrs old rather than two grown ups who were certainly more agreeable to catch Peter! Wrong evaluation.

In one chapter alone Hadrian god I hate that obnoxious name you do know Harry is derived of Henry so if any name would’ve made better sense it would’ve been Henry but nicknamed Harry right ? . Anyways what’s with Harry and swearing oaths on EVERYTHING ? In 1 damn chapter he swore an oath like 10 times Sirius asked him to stop it yet he does it at the drop of a hat for no reason .

Oh, yeah. Madame Pomfrey is super pissed at Harry.

Oh, dear. Harry ends up unconscious in the hospital wing on the first day. Madame Pomfrey will NOT be amused.
