The lines where you start describing the nightmares incolving Cas are pretty powerful and I like your prose but I'm actually a little confused. Like even reading the afterward I'm confused. I got that Dean killed himself although I might not have caught on right away.
Is the Sam who is interacting with him, (the one who asks about the gun powder) even there or is he only in Dean's mind? The same with Cas' presence...is that happening?
