Yeah right, Harry the Rune Mage who does not even develop a single defense/combat-oriented rune to use against the Dursley pigs... Looks like he's turning into just another tired rehash of the bit%& he was in canon... What a shame.

It would have been wonderful to see him develop a rune that simply amplifies strength/lessens incoming physical impacts and used it to beat that filthy child abuser black and blue, but I suppose that would be a radical departure from canon.

Great work on this story so far. I like how the changes are small so far but they are growing.

I do think the twins would tell Herm or Nev since they are his friends and not Ron.
