I just finish reading chapter 15 and i had the flash of an idea. "The Guardian of Forever" in the original Star Trek episode could see/view time off all planets an d travel through time. Why not the ability to see others time lines as well? Harry and Hermione could use The Guardian as a doorway to return home. Yes ? Nuff said !

So Kirk didn't move the ship away from a growing singularity, party at least to gloat... Remind me again why he's a good captain? And he hits shamelessly on an engaged woman, remind me again why he's a good person? That's two of the reasons I loathe Kirk, his arrogance and his disrespect for anyone not named James T. Kirk... He thinks more with his little head than his heart.

Urgh no Kirk/Hermione please... I hate Ron in canon, and Kirk makes him look like a saint...

Kirk is guilty of subordination and mutiny so far... I really dislike Kirk, Pike is the true captain...

I missed following this fic. I am so happy I found it and read straight through. I needed an ST fix and this fit the bill. I like the characterizations of Mione and Harry. Hard won maturity but still recognizable as the personality's that endeared us when they were kids.
I am curious where they will slot into their new lives and am wary of the friendly being that transferred them to this universe. Goes without saying Marcus is a slimeball.

halfway through this chapter and it's kind of obvious how you feel about Harry. He can't do Jack without Hermione apparently. It's super cringy, at first it was kinda adorable, their close relationship but it's getting to the point where I'm surprised he got through his whole life without her holding his goddamn hand. I am not a fan of dependent Harry stories and was hoping he would be an individual badass in this but I should have known when I saw she came with him in this story. I usually stay away from Hermione/harry based stories because people kill me with her character (inflated ego, know-it-all, shrilly) OR they kill me with his character (whiny, needy, can't do shi without her) but I really wanted to read a crossover like this. I hope the cringe stops soon...unless this whole thing is a Hermione saves the day fic, if so, why even have Harry in it? sigh

Great job nailing character voice and those friendships that are so close they make everyone around the pair feel a little awkward. Now to binge the sequel you’re writing!
