| Difdi chapter 7 . 11/19/2022 Given the way Star Wars hyperdrive works, Solo's "less than 15 parsecs" actually does make sense. Standard hyper lanes are well-scouted, all but guaranteed to be clear of inconvenient rocks, definitely no suns in the way, etc. But if you're a good navigator (or lucky), you can fly closer to navigational hazards, to shorten the trip. So if the safe route is 20 parsecs and the risky route is 18, doing it in 15 takes some serious skill. |
