Of all the versions of death I've seen in stories based on this challenge (which is my favorite challenge btw/) yours is the Most Unhelpful and annoying I've seen. He really didn't give Harry any help at all. I hope he not only gets fired but sent to Hell. He certainly deserves it for what he did in life.

Thanks for the new chapter. Great story so far. Premise and plot moving along nicely in a believable pace. My only concern is that, most stories like yours where Harry gets to re-do things is when he comes back and get all friendly with almost everyone, mostly girls (common Luna and Daphne). In your case its Luna and the way you've written where he is comfortable falling asleep with two girls, one of them he never really was that close to begin with in his past life (even knowing he is supposed to be soul bonded with Hermione) is iffy. And then somewhere down the line, it ends up one of those girls falls for him and he can't break their hearts and somehow Hermione is "magically" ok with sharing him. I really really hope this WON'T fall down that overly prepubescent beaten path in fanfiction.

I'd honestly think that it's really funny that Snape and Dumbledore got left out from seeing the Chambers of Secrets. Serves Snape right for not getting a go at the Basilisk.

Up to here is really good. What I just want to ask, is what happen to the Prat once the Dragon letter was brought to light, it seems like nothing. The problem with unfinish plot is that it always leave a bad taste on teh story, sure you do not want to rip him a new one it is ok but removing him without a line tell us how that happen is really bad. Any way thanks for writing.

I do like the way you handled Ron, and also the way Luna is included. A Harry Potter that actually tries to improve himself AND who is noticing things is always nice.

just found, quick question didn't harry sign his name to the scroll that let him return with the condition being he had to live, kill voldemort and get with his soulmate, so doesn't he have to do it or corporate can veto his return, waiting for more

I was actually starting to get a little perturbed there for a few minutes as it looked like Harry was going to be an idiot and ask someone (Ginny? nonononono!) other than Hermione to the Yule Ball. He ended up making the decision by realizing that she really would be the best girl to ask and not by going with some hazy "soul mate" thing pushed on him by another. I think I like it better this way. HE chose her for her, not due to a perceived spiritual obligation.

I'm really enjoying this. It's good to hear that you have it all planned out already; the vast majority stories written for this challenge are never completed, and I'd love to see this one go the distance.

Glad to see you showed not everything is as smooth between Harry and Hermione. Hermione didn't like him keeping the Room as secret and it was hard to convince her about house-elves.
Glad to see Harry decided not to ask somebody else to the Ball just to be contrary.
