One thing I would think they would have Harry do and they never did in cannon is show off the chamber like a trip. Not counting that he did anything there you would think that some one would want him to come with a class to see it each year. It was something of the founder of the school and it would be a big deal at lest to 1/4 of the school to see a room that was just his.

I do recomend you ether do the stairs can be made or you have each person going also take a broom to go down there. While Herm may not like brooms to much she can fly on one and I think she would do it for this.

Nice Chapter, I feel like Hermoine was being a little overly annoyed in the beginning but i'm glad they are going to the yule ball together. will be fun to see peoples reactions to that

An interesting chapter for Harry to show Hermione and Luna the RoR and Dobby. Good Harry was able to have Dobby to convince Hermione to understand both sides of the story. Though in canon it seems unusual that Hermione wastes so much time and alienated so many with her over the top drive to free house-elves. When she could have been focused on what was happening to Harry.
Good for Bilius' stupidity and jealousy over the dragons to be exposed to everyone. So what has happened to him?
Great Harry finally asked Hermione to the ball but will they get Neville to take Luna as Ginny is a too immature fangirl?
So dance lessons?
So what is Dumbledore doing to regain control over Harry?

I love 'dont fear the reaper' challenge stories. You have made this story one of my top favorites for not only the challenges but stories in general.
I hate ron...Hate HATE HATE ron. You bashing him like this made my night.
In all honesty, if Sirius could get howler paper, i think i'd die with laughter! "Dumbledore...you...bla bla bla ...not taking care of my godson.. bla bla bla.. stupid old goat! oh harry, i'm proud of you. (id think it would even be better if he said i know we've never met {keeping harry safe from helping an innocent fugitive}) but i'm your godfather, sirius black!' and Harry not knowing what to do and everyone would hear it and i think it would just be awesome, if not it would be a great one shot.
I loved how you did the dragon scene and how harry and the girls handled just about everything. though i wish ron got hurt more (my ron hatred is showing). With Charlie and co rendering down both animals i wonder how that changes everything, will dumbles get mad, we know ron will if harry get mre money, will harry share the money, hored it, use it for good? who knows!. (i also dislike dumbles and agree with the conspiracy theorist that he stole the rendering from harry and there is noway that ron wasnt a parselmouth because you can't just learn to speak to snakes if its a bloodline trait...)

Great story so for. I loved how you have done alot of this chalange and look foward to the next part of it. The dragon chalange in this chapter was a out standing touch to it and I loved how you did the all of the Weslies so far in this.

2 thing. One I do hope you will include the twins talk with Ron in the next chapter as while they like to have fun and even cause some damage or crule they never put people's lives on the line for their jokes and especially not friends.

The second thing is if you have Herm still go to the ball with Krum ( I hope not) that you have Harry ask Luna to go with him so that she can also go. In some way I hope you keep this just Harry and Herm but in others I want it a 3 way with Luna. If not I hope you hook Luna up with someone like Nev as she needs a good person also.

This is great! Isn't giving Ron the well deserved bash coming amazingly easy? I think this character was made to bash. He's so horribly single- and simple-minded that he meets Malfoy on the other end of the spectrum.
