Sirius's threat sounds very dangerous in a world of magic where words might gave un-thought-of consequences. He promised, in a bout of overprotection of his godson, that, under given circumstances, he would 'destroy what makes Hermione's life worth living,' aka, he promised to kill Harry.
And he's a thoughtless Griffindor whose attitude had already cost him twelve years in Azkaban and his mental stability got only worse since.

Wonderful chapter. Kinda sad towards the end.

This chapter's highest is Harry giving that 'you are useless' speech, looking down clearly from his 17-year-old self's eyes but with the temperament of a boiling teenager. Yes he knows much he logically shouldn't (unless you count being killed a dozen times already, plus consequences) but I want to see his face when the time of the Battle of Hogwarts comes and he suddenly knows nothing new info because he'd been dead at that point.

I love the 'everybody home' montage, especially Draco :)

Or let them be used so he knows they're coming and setup a trap like blowing a whole hallway up and getting the group. Now he's clueless and doesn't have the link in his head to even attempt rooting out info.

Considering Sirius spent his 20's in Azkaban the old comments are severely distasteful.

It wasn't even remotely believable for him to be shocked by her words and go with them. She slapped and despised Ron while happily being with him all year. It was such blatant bs it shouldn't of had him believe them at all.

He does have other means to track Harry. He has the blood tracker that he gave Ron later on. That wasn't a new device.

Slightly annoyed Harry didn't correct Amelia and say Trial. Not retrial. Since he didn't have one which means Fudge is breaking the law aswell and she should be able to force it since its not a retrial.

I hate that these stories have Fudge as all powerful at the ministry. That no one can force things like Bones to the Wiz for all to hear and stop Fudge from himself stopping things. That he as minister somehow has authority of that like a King to stop anything and everything including aiding a known terrorist and somehow Bones can only sit back and let him?

Wish he told them to make sure Fudge doesn't have them kissed before they can be questioned and to mention Peter's rat form before he conked out.

Well that's a fucking shifty ending. Saves Cedric's life and is fucked over by him in the process.

Wish it wasn't so common for him to destroy them. Be better if practically all the stories where he doesn't he didn't then go and ignore the items and actually made use of the diadem and stone.
