Can't wait to see what happens next! I have a pretty good idea but to read your story is going to be awesome. Leia has too much sitting on her shoulders. One of the only people who expect her to only be Leia is Han. They are very good for each other. Since this is an AU can we hope for a happy ending? Anticipating wonderful things. Great beginning to your story.

I absolutely loved this. I think you have wrote the characters well with multiple layers from leias conflict with legacy as an organa and skywalker, political pressures and situations, Hans insecurities, etc. I love this. For a moment when someone knocked on the door I thought it was bail and was preparing myself to be disappointed because that seems a little suspicious and a not very well thought out plot. I love how you talked about how there have been distress signals before. I hope when bail returns it's in a capacity to be a politician and a father. I think that Fics with bail portray him in a specific, very similar way so I am interested in seeing how he is developed after five years later. Also hope that Luke makes more of an appearance once bail is announced to be alive (I would love to see an interaction between bail and Luke as well as Han and bail). I think it's interesting how you are portraying leis as struggling more with the organa legacy not the Vader legacy. It will be interesting to see how she reacts with bail over time. On one hand, you have your father who you've mourned and missed and loved. On the other hand, you have someone who tried to protect you by lying to you about a brother and a father (I think the brother thing is what she would be more upset because she lost this chance to grow up with her best friend). Long story short I loved it and hope you update soon!

Just a few things: will Luke and leia ever announce their twins? Why did the empire crumble so quickly if your using some EU stuff? And who will their kid/kids be? The EU kids or Ben? Either one is good but I'm just wondering.
