This fic is one of the few that I always come back every year or so to reread. It’s honestly such a journey to see how the author developes the characters within this story and to see the drastic change in writting style as the chapters go by. Its completely unique from other Naruto fics I’ve read in my eight years within the fandom. I wish I could forget it so I could go back and experience the story again. Thank you for creating such an amazing piece of literature.

I absolutely adored this fic when I was in highschool. I haven't read it really since then but it was peak asf, hope you revive this story in the future lol.

And this is why starting the protagonist off with a civillian family is a problem. The whole "I'm not going to let my son become a shinobi" has been done to death. And it's not a fun storyline. If you require it for something you have later, I'd just timeskip over the fight and have the protagonist say something later on like, "my parents really didn't like me becoming a shinobi." And like that, you've boiled that entire awkward chapter down into a single line.

Not gonna lie did not relaise that mc was some how related to orichimaru before this chap really made me think he was uchiha but with the yellow eyes orchimarus reaction and ankos reaction i can say that nice work

His parents death are so anticlimactic, like it was completely avoidable. He just sorta ran at them while a random Suna Shinobi slowly decapitated them, didn't use sunshin, no jutsu, nothing and refuses to use Jiangu until they were both dead (along with his unborn sibling). Honestly that's at least 60% Alvacarus' fault for just NOT doing anything but screaming Mom over and over until she got killed. Literally the second she died he kills the Shinobi and those around him easily so he practically let his parents die, really really stupid deaths

Ah he got a more effed up version of venom shoved into him it looks like. Unfortunately fortunate?

It's odd this guy dosent ever suspect for a second he's orochimaru's kid. It's pretty damn obvious, if nothing else than with the golden snake eyes. Literally only orochimaru and karui have told eyes, ignoring every other clue as well this is a big one
