The only depicted Rape scene that ever disgusted me more is from a Merlin fanfic where the girl is even younger and the protagonist has a magical connection to her mind. Hearing how he hears her being confused then afraid, panicked, then in pain and getting a description of how her mind slowly breaks fucked me up so bad, I couldn't read anything like it for years.
I also never finished that story.
Infact, I think I will take a break from this one for now too.

thoughts? i feel like the inclusion of non-con in the story is completely unneccessary. If you just wanted them to trigger, the kidnapping and threat of it was more than enough. It being in the fic is the only thing that makes me dislike coming back to re-read this fic and, seeing as the updates stop soon after, I imagine everytime you opened the fic and had to think about addressing it was just non-stop upsettingness which led to you just wanting to focus on other things. If you ever go back and edit prior chapters, that would be one of the things I'd like to see done. Outside of non-con just being unpleasant to read, I frankly barely know these characters. I skipped the non-con chapter completely, i roughly remember they triggered as blasters and thats all i needed to know from it. And since Taylor found them I've been just skipping around untill i finally found a point thats not her talking about or thinking about them etc. I understand they're two of Taylor's super close friends but that relationship developement happened off screen. So, while taylor is attached to them, i am not. From my pov, we spent a chapter and a half agonizing of the equivalent of a bomb implanted person that's moderatly more relevant than the rest of them.

i feel ike im being a bit harsh but that entire scenerio os the only thing i ont like out of any of the fics of yours I've read. You are admittedly one of my favorite fanfic writers so i wanted to at least try to provide solid feedback.

So ya, thats where Im at. i like everything about this fic except that scene. If its cut and the following chapters adjusted, I do think the story would read much better
